What are some things about the Philadelphia Eagles that are useful to know as they get ready to play the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 52?

The Philadelphia Eagles took an unexpected turn on their journey toward a Super Bowl. But they hope there is a championship ring waiting for them at the end of that trip. Things kick off against the New England Patriots at 6:30 PM ET at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on Sunday, and BetAnySports customer will have the opportunity to place wagers even after the opening kickoff when they access what is available through Live Betting Ultra.

Here are some interesting things you may want to know about the Eagles coming into this game:

1) The Eagles have rushed for only 354 yards over their last four games. And running the ball is something they may have to do with great execution if they are to win this game.

2) Philadelphia's receivers have caught 69.4% of the passes thrown their way in the red zone, which is second best in the league. And this is obviously a huge factor in the Eagles' 66.7% success rate scoring touchdowns in the red zone.

3) During the regular season, the Eagles had 271 quarterback pressures, which was more than any other team in the NFL. They have added 40 more in the two playoff games against Atlanta and Minnesota.

4) The Eagles, who are four-point underdogs to the Patriots at BetAnySports (with a total of 48.5 points), have not allowed ONE point in the last two minutes of any game this season.

5) Philadelphia defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz got his start in coaching as an intern under Bill Belichick with the Cleveland Browns, so he has had an up-close knowledge of the New England head coach.

6) The Eagles sent only four pass rushers on 80% of pass plays against them this season, and only two teams did it more frequently. And they were able to get pressure on the quarterbacks 38% of the time in those specific situations. When the other team had an empty backfield, Philadelphia achieved pressure only 27% of the time, however.

7) When he has NOT been pressured this season - albeit in limited action - Nick Foles has had a quarterback rating of 107.8.

8) There was no team with more time of possession this season than the Eagles, and Philly is also 24th in the league in terms of "pace," which is the time between snaps.

9) The Eagles played with the third-largest average lead in the NFL this season, behind only the Los Angeles Rams and Patriots.

10) The Eagles scored an average of 6.3 points a game in the first quarter, which is third-best in the NFL. Take note that the Patriots have never scored a point in the first quarter of any Super Bowl.

11) Philadelphia ran the "run-pass option" more than any other team in the league this season.

12) The Eagles have been playing without some very essential performers this season - not only quarterback Carson Wentz, but also kick returner Darren Sproles, kicker Caleb Sturgis, offensive tackle Jason Peters and linebacker Jordan Hicks.

13) Nick Foles completed 49 of 63 passes in the two playoff games, with 598 yards and three touchdowns. He carried a 141.1 passer rating. And his 346 yards against Minnesota were the most anyone threw for against the Vikings this season.

14) The Eagles averaged 5.97 plays per drive, which was 13th-highest in the NFL.

15) The Eagles' defense is 19th in the NFL in terms of touchdown percentage in the red zone. They have kicked field goals 19.2% of the time they were in the red zone, which was lowest in the league.
