The Boston Celtics have their backs to the wall, and they know that things don't look good against the Cleveland Cavaliers. They will try to stay alive on Sunday at home.

The Boston Celtics may be a team filled with young players, but they know full well that no team in the NBA playoffs has ever rebounded from a 3-0 deficit to win a series. Howver, they can do nothing but go out there and try to win one game at a time, beginning with Sunday afternoon's Game 4 against the Cleveland Cavaliers, as NBA playoff betting action begins at 1 PM ET at the TD Garden. Remember that after the game tips off, BetAnySports customers can avail themselves of sides, totals and props through the magic of Live Betting Extra.

Boston has been a feisty bunch, but they can't really matchup with the top-level talent of Cleveland. And they are not doing enough from long-range to fill the vacuum. The best they can hope for is that Cleveland gets cold with all the three-pointers they are attempting. But no one is really banking on it.

In Game 3, the Cavs got off to an eight-point halftime lead, and everything was all even in the second half. Cleveland is deadly when they score 100 points in a game, winning 30 out of 31 contests in that situation.

In the NBA playoff odds that have been posted on this game by the people at BetAnySports, Cleveland is favored by a touchdown:

Cleveland Cavaliers -7
Boston Celtics +7

Over 202.5 points -110
under 202.5 points -110

One thing you can say about the Cavaliers is that they are doing a pretty good defensive job against Boston's perimeter shooters. The Celtics couldn't produce anything beyond the three-point arc in Thursday's game, making just five out of 19 attempts. Also, Cleveland concentrated on slowing down Isaiah Thomas, one of the few truly potent offensive players in the Boston rotation, and they succeeded, holding the little spark plug to just five points. Avery Bradley has been of much of assistance to the Cleveland effort, as he had another poor shooting night (7-18).

It would probably be very interesting to BetAnySports customers that the Celtics lost this game despite a rather large advantage in terms of points in the paint (48-28). But the Cavaliers sent power forward Kevin Love outside, and they got great results. Love, who is one of the more versatile big men in all of basketball, nailed six triples and looked like the kind of player Cleveland envisioned when they picked him up to complete the "Big Three" right before the start of the season. Kyrie Irving was rather calm in Game 3, hitting just three field goals. But the fact remains that between Irving and Lebron James, they have either scored or assisted on every Cleveland basket in the fourth quarter over the last two games. And this team is still getting to the free-throw line, with 24 attempts on Thursday, although they shot a rather poor 62.5% from the charity stripe. Could JR Smith be coming around? The starting guard shot 50% on Friday, although he was a disappointment in the first two games of the series, going cold from the floor. Smith was one of those additions to the rotation that was made during the season, as the Cleveland stars got more support from role players.
