The Cleveland Cavaliers are down two games to one as they play Game 4 of the NBA's Eastern Conference playoffs against the Indiana Pacers.

You might figure that LeBron James has gone the extra mile and then some for the Cleveland Cavaliers thus far in the opening round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. But his team may need a little more from him as they try to even things up with the Indiana Pacers on Sunday night, in a game that will begin at 8:35 PM ET at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis. Remember that if you are a customer at BetAnySports, you can place wagers in real time when you connect with Live Betting Ultra, which brings a whole lot of excitement.

James has been nothing if not dominant over the Cavaliers and what they are doing on offense. He has scored 36.3% of his team's points. He has taken 33 of the 58 free throws they've had. He has dished out 25 assists, and the next guys on the list for the Cavs have had only five. LeBron's assist percentage is 45.7%, meaning that while he's been out there on the floor, he has almost half his team's assists. When you get past him, the rest of the team collectively has 28 assists and 35 turnovers.

Really, when you take a look at it, his teammates haven't done well and haven't done enough. It also appears as if the Cavaliers have either run out of gas or been the victim of some pretty good halftime adjustments on the part of Pacers coach Nate McMillan, because they have held Cleveland to an average of 39 points in the second halves of these three games.

The fact of the matter is - although we know there are some very good players on the Cleveland side - including Kevin Love, who has shot well from downtown (8 for 17) and has 31 rebounds, the opponent here can get by on a strategy of making LeBron James do some things he doesn't want to do, enough times that it will make a difference, because he simply wouldn't leave it in anyone else's hands. What further complicates things is the fact that there are so many people with the Cavs who are relatively new that there has to be something of a trust gap.

And some of this may contribute to the current state of affairs, where Indiana is up two games to one, after coming back from a 17-point halftime deficit to win 92-90 on Friday night.

In the NBA playoff odds posted on this game by the people at BetAnySports, the game is a toss-up:

Indiana Pacers pick'em
Cleveland Cavaliers

Over 205 points -110
Under 205 points -110

We have seen so many times where LeBron James has come up with something superhuman when his team was in a bind. You saw that in Game 2, when he scored Cleveland's first sixteen points as they got off to a 16-1 lead. And they needed that cushion, because they faded enough that Indiana had a chance to tie it with time running out, and would have done just that if Victor Oladipo had been able to make a last-second triple. King James has not lost an opening-round playoff series in ten tries, so it's likely that if he is going, it's not with a whimper.

Who knows if one of the things he'll have to overcome is a repeat effort on the part of Bojan Bogdanovic, who had 30 points with seven triples in nine attempts in Game 3, and chipped in a great deal on defense, or else LeBron might have had a lot more than 28 points. And interestingly enough, Oladipo's Usage percentage is actually higher than LeBron's (34.6%), which means he has actually taken part in more of his team's offensive possessions than James has.

With this level of intensity, Cleveland plays more deliberately. They were fifth in the league in Offensive Rating, with 112.9 points per 100 possessions. In this series, they are at 99, which is lower than the lowest NBA team this season. On defense, where their rating was 29th, they are at 105.3 points per 100, which would have been fifth. And the Pace figure in the series (90.9) is lower than what any team produced as well, with a real slog in Game 3 (89.1).
