Can Tyler Herro make a contribution? Can Max Strus start to hit some shots? A triple double for Nikola Jokic? You can bet on all this, at Prop Builder.

There are plenty more ways for BetOnline patrons to wager on Game 5 of the NBA Finals than to just bet on the pointspread winner and/or the total. One of the more popular ways is through prop betting, and for that, customers have been known to turn to Prop Builder, which puts hundreds of possibilities in front of them.

To find it, go to the listing of the game in the sportsbook interface (it's under "Basketball"). Click on the red icon on the right hand side of that game listing, and you'll see a lot of stuff pop up like magic.

We're going to talk about some of these available props, as they relate to what amounts to a do-or-die game for the Miami Heat against the Denver Nuggets on Monday night at Ball Arena in the Mile High City.

NIKOLA JOKIC
To record a triple double +100 (even money)

Let's see - I count up 29 triple doubles for this guy in the regular season, and ten more in the playoffs, which includes a 30-20-10 masterpiece against the Heat. He's played 88 total games, which means he's triple-doubled about 44% of the time, if you want to look at it that way. But you could look at it another way too, in that his ten TD's out of 19 postseason contests represents 52.6% frequency. There may be a bit of value here, although I would probably pass.

NIKOLA JOKIC
Points + Rebounds + Assists (P+R+A)

Over 52.5 P+R+A -114
Under 52.5 P+R+A -114

Jokic's numbers were down in Game 4, as he had to sit out some time with foul trouble. In 37 minutes, he had a total of 39 in this category. He's also exceeded the 52.5 on a couple of occasions. There is no question that he is capable of getting there. But will he? The assist numbers have been down, as Jokic has only 18 in the last three games. Is Miami going to pin its ears back and deny him an opportunity to so something with the ball at every opportunity? Someone else will get the numbers, if not him. Let's go with the UNDER in this one.

JIMMY BUTLER - POINTS SCORED

Over 26.5 pts. -124
Under 26.5 pts. +106

Coming into Game 4 of this series, Butler, a well-known playoff hero. had shot 40% from the field going back to Game 3 of the series against the Celtics. But he's found more accuracy in the last two contests, hitting 20 of 41 shots, although he's not been a threat from three-point range. Let's see if he can get to the line a bit; he's had 15 attempts the last two games.

Our instinct for the purposes of this BetOnline prop is that with their backs to the wall, Miami is going to put the ball in Butler's hands and see how far he can take them. Things may be easier in the first half before Denver makes adjustments. But it's just my sense that Butler is going to shoot the ball at any opportunity, and if he's getting a good shot, well, that's all the better. I wish there was a prop available on his shot attempts, because that might go through the roof. We'll go OVER on this one.

CHRISTIAN BRAUN - POINTS SCORED

Over 3.5 pts. -127
Under 3.5 pts. -103

Christian Braun, pronounced "Brown" and to our knowledge, no relation to Werner Von Braun, came up big with seven for seven from two-point range (he missed a triple) in Game 4. But what was interesting, even as the commentators were praising his presence, was that his plus-minus was only +2 during his time on the floor. He was a minus-17 in Game 5. So you have to wonder how great an idea it is for him to be on the court. We sure won;t lay -127. UNDER.

TYLER HERRO - POINTS SCORED

Over 6.5 pts. -108
Under 6.5 pts. -121

In looking at this prop, I am operating under the assumption that Herro is going to try playing. He had been upgraded to questionable on the injury report (off hand surgery) and there is, after all, no tomorrow.

And my feeling is that if Erik Spoelstra suits him up, it's not just ceremonial. He's going to play him. And if he plays, he's going to be throwing up shots for a team that badly needs a consistent third scoring option. Knowing that Herro is a capable shooting, and we have a relatively attractive price, we're saying "why not?" OVER

MAX STRUS - POINTS SCORED

Over 10.5 pts. -122
Under 1`0.5 pts. -107

Strus is not a defensive asset; his failure to box out Derrick White gave Boston a tap-in and the opportunity to extend the previous series to a seventh game. Strus appears to be a bit overwhelmed in this NBA Finals series; all but five of his shots from the field have been triples, and on an overall basis he is 5-for-31. And he has scored more than ten points only once in his last ten games. UNDER
