Saturday is the start of the College Bowl season and this year we will finally see an NCAA football champion crowned. The third game on the board is the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, known around here as the Tater Bowl. This bowl game has been running as one of the first bowl games each year since 1997 and featured Boise State in 3 of the first 6 games. But with the rise of that program another Mountain West Conference team has taken center stage as the 'home' team since 2005.

Two high flying offenses meet in this year's Famous Idaho Potato Bowl featuring the 8-4 Western Michigan Broncos vs. the 9-3 Air Force Falcons. Western Michigan has never won a bowl game in school history, going 0-5. The Broncos had won six games in a row before losing thier season finale to Norhtern Illinois, 31-21. They were an impressive 10-2 against-the-spread, one of the best records ATS in college football..

Air Force has a good resume this season winning 8 of their last 10 games with wins over Boise State, Colorado State and a good Navy squad.
