The EPL is set to roll our their first installment of mid-week fixtures during this early season. With match day 15 coming at a rapid pace, there are plenty of opportunities to find top-rated investment options, based on these specific match-ups and public perceptions.

The Premier League schedule makers must be commended. After a triple Derby Day that generated a billion plus views, they are now following that up with Manchester United vs Arsenal on Wednesday night and Chelsea vs Manchester City this weekend, giving their fans plenty of reasons to keep tuning in on a regular basis.

Manchester United vs Arsenal
Old Trafford, Manchester, England
12-05-2018 - 3:00 pm ET - NBC-SN

The main attraction on Wednesday night takes place at "The Theatre of Dreams", when a struggling Manchester United side welcome a red hot Arsenal squad to Old Trafford for this classic 'Big Six' affair.

Manchester United limp into match day 15 off another humbling result. The "Red Devils" travel home off a 2-2 result with relegation members Southampton, now the 13-time EPL champions must rebound from their most recent blunder and attempt to grab positive points against arguably the hottest team in England's top flight league.

Jose Mourinho continues to find himself on the English giants sideline, After a turbulent start to his third season with the club, the "Special One" seems to be treading water as he attempts to salvage this domestic nightmare.

Mourinho has a chance to make another stand against the Gunners on Wednesday night. Manchester United have had a large amount of success against their London rivals, holding Arsenal winless at Old Trafford in their last 11 visits. With a record of 8-3-0 over that span, the hosts have had their fellow Big Six mates number over the past decade.

Man U may be challenged more than ever to keep their impressive run alive, as the Red Devils are dealing with a large amount of injuries through-out their high priced squad. They have a depleted back-line that includes Luke Shaw, Antonio Valencia, Matteo Darmian, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Eric Bailey who are all listed as doubtful, although Mourinho will hope that the Smalling and Bailey can recover by the start of this must win affair.

The Red Devils must lean on their front-line players move than ever, wanting to keep the pressure off a make shift back-end. Anthony Martial, Romelu Lukaku and Jesse Lingard will be asked to dictate the pace, while also threatening Arsenal in front of goal. With 12 combined goals during domestic play, this is the perfect opportunity for this trio to make a huge impact on this classic affair.

There should be a real battle waged within the midfield, Nemanja Matic is expected to slot back into his normal role, after being asked to handle more defensive responsibilities over the weekend. The Serbian field general should is able to influence the outcome on both sides of the pitch, his hold up play and distribution on the offensive end is priceless, while using his anticipation instincts to limit Arsenal's fluent attack.

Manchester United have been unable to match the success they experienced under Sir Alex Ferguson. After the famed head-man decided to retire in 2013, the league's most successful club during the Premier League era have failed to win another top flight title, placing even more pressure on this seasons club to reverse that underwhelming trend.

The Red Devils start the match day a full 8 points from the top four spots in the EPL table with an overall record of 6-4-4 and a disappointing 22 points. Man United need to put together a sustained winning streak and take points from clubs sitting at the top of the table or they could face the possibility of missing out on European nights come next season.

Arsenal land in Manchester in top form. The Gunners are unbeaten in their last 19 matches in all competitions, giving them the utmost confidence they can finally break this horrid curse while played at Old Trafford.

Unai Emery got his first taste of a North London Derby over the weekend and the Spaniard passed that that first test by walking away from the Emirates with all three points against a talented Tottenham side. Now the newly assigned manager looks to overcome a new challenge by snapping the decade long winless drought in Manchester and starting his own winning tradition as the north Londoner's new head-man.

Emery has pushed all the correct buttons within his squad rotation. After going down 1-2 at halftime against Spurs, he then inserted Aaron Ramsey and Alexandre Lacazette who completely turned the match on it's head, the duo are now expected to get the starting nod against the Red Devils on Wednesday night.

Ramsey should slot into the number ten role, looking to play creator behind his world class tally's men, with 5 assists during his limited time on the pitch, the Welsh-man generally has a large impact each time his name is called. Lacazette seems destined to move back into the number nine role atop Arsenal's 4-2-3-1 formation, the French-man has come alive apart of Emery's tactical alignment, posting 6 goals in all competitions, he should have plenty of clear cut chances against this weakened Man-U back-line

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been the true break-out star of the new campaign, the former Dortmund man has slowly adjusted to the Premier Leagues style of play, now more comfortable in his winger role, the Gabonese trigger-man is setting the league on fire, currently the EPL's top scorer with 10 on the season, he simply does not miss his opportunities when placed in front of goal.

The Gunner's are getting major contributions throughout their starting eleven, with Lucas Torreira earning high praise within the European footballing community. The Uruguayan defensive midfielder is flourishing during his first season in the Premiership, after making the move from Italy, Torreira has adjusted seamlessly through his non-stop work rate, placing him in the best positions to make a positive play on both ends of the pitch.

Arsenal bounced London rivals Tottenham from the 4th spot in the EPL standings on Sunday evening, now motivated to keep their Champions League position, the Gunners must continue to grab positive results if they intend of retaining their current spot in the table.

Manchester United vs Arsenal - Match Prediction

The marquee match-up on this accelerated match day 15 card should not disappoint, with each club going in different directions, we should expect a thriller as both teams have separate agendas to accomplish.

Manchester United are a truly desperate unit, understanding only three points will do in this match-up, the Red Devils should leave everything they have on the pitch too obtain their goal. The hosts are certain to come out in an aggressive mind-frame, wanting to set the tempo and implement their style of play, which includes using their wingers to create amble opportunities to place the ball in the back of the net, the Red Devils will also be especially dangerous in set-piece situations, where they can use their aerial prowess too their advantage.

Arsenal cannot stop scoring through the first quarter of the EPL campaign, the Gunners have already netted 32 goals through the first 14 weeks of action, with 16 of those coming during their travels. The Londoners have been especially dangerous in the second half of matches, placing 24 goals in the back of the net within the last 45 minutes of each match. The visitors play an attractive brand of football, also counting on their wingers to make a major impact during each shift, they will want to attack the Red Devils who struggle to defend pacey attackers in space, especially those who can create their own shots on goal.

There should be plenty of action once the opening whistle blows, with Arsenal scoring a minimum of 2 goals in 11 of their last 13 away fixtures, while Manchester United have seen the total surpass 2.5 goals in 7 of the last 8 EPL matches they have been involved in, setting up for a fire cracker to close out this abbreviated match day in the Premier League.
