Daily fantasy sports operator DraftKings has moved to enhance its presence in the US professional sports market by entering into partnerships with three more teams in the NFL American football league.

The company has signed multi-year agreements with the Dallas Cowboys, New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs.

Under each deal, the terms of which were not disclosed, DraftKings will open branded fantasy sports lounges at each of the teams' home stadiums.

The lounges at the Cowboys' AT&T Stadium, the Patriots' Gillette Stadium and the Chiefs' Arrowhead Stadium will open in time for the start of the 2015 NFL season, which is due to begin on September 10.

Confirmation of the three deals comes after DraftKings in April also signed multi-year agreements with 15 other teams in the NFL.

DraftKings is due to begin its $10 Million Guaranteed Millionaire Maker Fantasy Football Contest during week one of the 2015 NFL season, with players taking part competing for a grand prize of $2 million (€1.8 million).

Jason Robins, chief executive and co-founder of DraftKings, said: "What better way to kick off the football season than by partnering with the most recognisable, storied franchises in the league to create our newest fantasy lounges.

"Our lounges will give Patriots, Cowboys and Chiefs fans enhanced game-day experiences that will bring them closer to the action.

"We look forward to providing even more exclusive once-in-a-lifetime experiences for DraftKings users through these partnerships."
