CAMS granted full approval in New Jersey

Online payment services company CAMS has been granted a full Casino Service Industry Enterprise Licence by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE).

Online payment services company CAMS has been granted a full Casino Service Industry Enterprise Licence by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE).

CAMS was previously granted a provisional waiver by the New Jersey regulator in order to serve the industry during its launch in 2013.

However, the new level of licence ensures that CAMS exceeds the requirements of the New Jersey DGE.

Matthew Katz, chief executive officer of CAMS, said: "New Jersey has been an important state for us as well as the industry at large.

"This was the first populous state in which to deploy and fine-tune age and ID verification as well as geolocation.

"We look forward to serving other states that adopt licensed and regulated online gaming."
