Bettors have been waiting for an entire year to get the opportunity to capitalize on March Madness. It's finally here and there are tons of betting opportunities.

Those same bettors would be wise to not forget about the NBA. Teams are now full throttle into the season’s second half and there is value to be found in a Saturday matchup in Milwaukee.

Here’s a look at the top bets for this weekend.

MARCH MADNESS 2021 BETTING

NCAA Tournament: Creighton vs. UCSB

The 2021 NCAA tournament got underway on Thursday with the First Four and gives bettors a full weekend of betting action rolling all the way into Monday. There are a handful of matchups that sharp bettors got into right away.

Fifth-seed Creighton, which got stomped in the Big East Final by Georgetown is a 6.5-point favorite over UC-Santa Barbara. The Bluejays (20-8) have lost three of their past six games. That’s not good heading into March Madness. 

University of California, Santa Barbara, on the other hand, heads into the tournament as Big West Conference champions and winners of five straight. Look for the Gauchos to keep this one close and cover the 6.5.

NCAA Tournament: UNC-Greensboro-Florida State

The Seminoles (16-6) were one of the top scoring teams in the nation. They are tall, athletic, and FSU can shoot the three-pointer. The Seminoles shot 40.3 percent from behind the arc. They also committed 25 turnovers in the ACC championship game, one FSU lost to Georgia Tech.

Florida State is favored by 11 over UNC-Greensboro, a team that started this season 6-5. They faced just two opponents inside the top 100. Isaiah Miller (19.3 ppg, 6.9 rpg, 4.0 apg) is good, but he isn’t that good.

NBA: Spurs at Bucks

Milwaukee won its first two games after the All-Star break and put up a ton of points in the process. The Bucks put up 134 on the best defensive team in the NBA, the New York Knicks. Milwaukee followed that up with 125 in a win over the surging Washington Wizards.

San Antonio is a top-10 defense, but the Bucks will push the pace. They rank seventh in the NBA in possessions per game. Expect a big total but not that big because of San Antonio's defense.
