Previews and predictions for Chiefs vs. 49ers and Seahawks vs. Chargers from Ross Benjamin and Jesse Schule.

Betting tips and predictions for Week 7 NFL action

Upsets and unders have rules the roost so far in the 2022 NFL season and this week the big news of the Christian McCaffrey trade to the 49ers has affected the line, but not necessarily the pick. My partners on today's Winners Circle video, Jesse Schule, takes a look at the trade and makes his selections for the Chiefs/Niners matchup and I have a free pick on Seahawks at Chargers game this week. Read below and watch the video for some NFL betting advice for Week 7.

Seattle Seahawks at LA Chargers Preview and Pick
The Chargers are 4-2 so far this season, but to me, they have underachieved. I say that because their four wins have come against teams that are 6-15-1 SU and the two losses were against the Chiefs and the Jaguars. Meanwhile, the Seahawks have done better than expected, going 3-3 to start the season in their first campaign without Russell Wilson in a decade.

Seahawks Chargers free pickSeattle has rushed for 174 yards per game in their last three, averaging an enormous 6.2 yard per attempt. The Chargers defense has been less-than-stellar versus the run, yielding 147 yard per game on the ground over their last three. Seattle should have their way running the ball and will control the tempo of this game.

As long as Seattle does not shoot themselves in the foot with needless turnovers and penalties, it would not surprise me to see them beat the Chargers. But, I'm not going to get greedy here and will take the Seahawks +5 to cover in LA.

Kansas City Chiefs at San Francisco 49ers Preview
The news on Thursday that the 49ers traded a handful of draft picks for star Carolina running back Christian McCaffrey had an immediate impact on the public perception of this game, causing oddsmakers to adjust the betting line. Kansas City was a solid three point favorite all week, but the line has dropped, with industry leader BetOnline moving all the way down to Chiefs -1.5. However, this movement makes little sense as McCaffrey does not know the playbook and certainly is not going to be the focal point of the Niner offense just days after his arrival in Frisco.

The 49ers are a bit banged up still on defense and Patrick Mahomes leads the league in TD passes and is 4th overall in QBR. Andy Reid continues to coach at a high level with the Chiefs atop the AFC West. This is a great betting matchup and Jesse offers much more info and his free pick in the video
