Top sports betting Ross Benjamin and Doug Upstone offer predictions for the upcoming NFL season.

A look at the season win totals for the upcoming NFL season

The NFL season will be upon us soon and there is no time like now to look at NFL betting futures and team win totals. I team up with another top handicapper, Doug Upstone, on the OSGA YouTube Channel, as we each share a pair of NFL regular season win totals predictions.

If you are an NFL bettor, this is a great time to look at NFL season win totals. This is one area of sports betting that can produce significant rewards. However, these wagers are for the patient gamblers only, as NFL futures for season win totals will take more than four months to cash in on. This year there is another factor to consider, the 17 game season. As Doug points out, there will be no .500 teams in the NFL anymore.

We look at the season win totals for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Las Vegas Raiders, San Francisco 49ers, and Kansas City Chiefs.

Pittsburgh Steelers NFL win totalCurrently, the season win total at the top online sportsbooks for the Steelers is 8.5. Betting under this total would mean predicting the Steelers to have a losing season, which the team has never had in 15 seasons under head coach Mike Tomlin. But, Pittsburgh has a very tough schedule, with road games in Buffalo, Kansas City and Minnesota, not to mention, the AFC Central is difficult on it's own, with Cleveland and Baltimore at 10.5 and 11 wins respectively in 2021, according to oddsmakers. I like the Steelers to finally have that losing season and predict under 8.5 wins for them this year.

Vegas Raiders 2021 future betting tipsDoug takes a in-depth look at the Las Vegas Raiders season win total. Currently the Raiders season win total is set at seven at BetOnline, while sitting at low 6.5 at many mainstream sportsbooks. Doug was able to find 8 wins for the Raiders and that may be the ultimate number to hunt for. But due to another tough schedule and the fact that John Gruden is still a bit removed from today's NFL game, Doug believes that the Raiders will go under the total of 8 wins. In addition, Ross has the Raiders finishing last in the AFC West.
