Week 6 Pick in the Jazz Survivor Contest

The NFL season is in full swing, and with Week 6 on the horizon, it's time for NFL Survivor pool participants to make their picks. As the pools start to dwindle due to upsets, making the right choice is critical. We have used up the Ravens, Cowboys, Chiefs, Vikings and Dolphins so far and sit at 5-0 with our NFL Survivor Picks in the Jazz Sports contest. This week, the Los Angeles Rams stand out as a promising option for Survivor players as we try to continue to advance.

The Top Contenders

Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams (-7)

While divisional matchups are generally not ideal for Survivor pools, the Los Angeles Rams' game against the Arizona Cardinals is one of the better options, especially with the Rams at Home in SoFi stadium. The Cardinals started the season strong, but have stumbled in recent weeks against tough opponents like the Cincinnati Bengals and San Francisco 49ers. On the other hand, the Rams have been surprisingly lively, showcasing an impressive offense led by quarterback Matthew Stafford. they gave the Eagles a tough game last week after beating the Colts on the road and losing by just 3 on the road in Cincinnati. The Rams are one team that is headed in the right direction after the first quarter of the season.

Rams Week 6 Survivor PickThe Cardinals' defense has struggled in recent weeks, ranking 29th in EPA/play over the last three games. This decline opens up an opportunity for the Rams to exploit their vulnerabilities and secure a victory. With Stafford leading the charge and a receiving corps that includes the talented Cooper Kupp, who ate up the Eagles last Sunday with eight catches for 188 yards and rookie Puka Nacua, who already has 46 catches on the season, the Rams have plenty of firepower to put up points against the Cardinals' defense.

Defensively, the Rams may not have eye-popping numbers, but they have faced a challenging schedule and have the potential to disrupt the Cardinals' offense. Joshua Dobbs, the Cardinals' quarterback, had a subpar performance last week, throwing two interceptions against the Bengals. The Rams' defense will look to capitalize on any mistakes and build on their recent success.

New York Giants at Buffalo Bills (-15)

There is no safer pick for your NFL Week 6 Survivor Pool than the Buffalo Bills. The Buffalo Bills are a huge favorites in their SNF matchup with the awful New York Giants. If your Survivor pool is down to the last few participants, using Buffalo might be a wise move. However, if you still have a significant number of entrants in your pool, it's best to save them for later in the season. After all the Bills still have the Jets and two games with the Patriots. But the best week to use Buffalo may be in Week 9, when they host the Broncos on Monday Night Football.

Bills Survivor Pick week 6The Bills are 3rd in the league in scoring with 31.8 points per game and Josh Allen is 5th in the NFL in passing yard and has completed an astonishing 73% of his passes. The Bills are coming off a loss and will look to get back on track at home, in primetime. Allen will pick apart this New York defense, and the Bills will look excellent in prime time.

New York QB Daniel Jones will be out for this game with a neck injury, Tyrod Taylor is in. Saquon Barkley has played in only two games and is questionable for Sunday and the team already ranks 31st in scoring with just 12.4 points per game. Uggh. The D has not been much better, allowing 30.6 points per game. There's a reason why this is the biggest spread on the board in Week 6.

Making the Decision

Taking the Rams as our Survivor pick in Week 6 may be a bit surprising to many, but LA offers value in a challenging week. The team's offensive firepower, led by Stafford and his talented receiving options, gives them a significant edge against the struggling Cardinals' defense. Furthermore, the Rams' defense has the potential to exploit the vulnerabilities in the Cardinals' offense, setting the stage for a promising outcome

Survivor pools are all about making calculated choices, and the Rams provide an opportunity to gain an advantage while saving other top teams for future weeks. While the risk may be slightly higher due to the divisional matchup, the potential reward makes the Rams our pick for Week 6.
