The Cincinnati Bengals seek their first win, and the San Francisco 49ers - or at least their coach - are in a grudge match against the Washington Redskins. Those are two highlights of the NFL's early schedule on Sunday.

Storylines abound in the NFL, and some of this week's matchups have a little bit of an "angle" to them.

Which way are we going with some of them? Here are the late thoughts as the games approach. They are included with the reduced juice odds from BetAnySports, where you can also place wagers in real time while the games are in progress with Live Betting Ultra.

These games all start at 1 PM ET.

SAN FRANCISCO at WASHINGTON
BetAnySports Line: Niners -10 (-105), Total 39.5 (-105)

This is one of those situations where you know that if one coach gets the opportunity to stick the knife in and turn it a little, he will. Kyle Shanahan didn't think he was appreciated when he was a coordinator with the Redskins, and felt his father got a bad deal. He has admitted that this game is "personal." That will manifest itself in what he does offensively. And of course, they'll start it with the running game, which they do about as well as anybody. Would he run it up? Yes, I think he will. But I don't think Washington's helpless either. Adrian Peterson cheered the firing of Jay Gruden, and when you do that, you can't then turn around and not perform for the new coach (Bill Callahan) who is emphasizing the run. And, well, Case Keenum is a better alternative to Colt McCoy or Dwayne Haskins. This number is navigable. OVER

MIAMI at BUFFALO
BetAnySports Line: Bills -17 (-108), Total 41 (-105)

Well, it's Ryan Fitzpatrick in the saddle once again, even though Brian Flores had specified that Josh Rosen was going to be his starter.....Oh, whatever. Yes, FitzMagic potentially can produce more points for them, but there is little doubt that yards and points are going to be at a premium against this Buffalo defense, which is among the league leaders in a lot of categories, including a microscopic 5.1 yards allowed per passing attempt. The problem with Buffalo is that they are rather unimaginative on the offensive end. But really, will the Dolphins score at all? UNDER

MINNESOTA at DETROIT
BetAnySports Line: Vikings -2.5 (-110), Total 43 (-106)

When I look at this game, I have to admit that if I was simply applying numbers to an equation, it may come out that we were getting a point or two of value with the Lions. But the basic matchup has to favor the Vikings. They can force Detroit into a situation where they get "pass-happy," and although the Lions are not afraid to run the ball, they just haven't been effective enough with it (3.9 ypc as a team). And Detroit needs to show that it can either slow a quality running attack (4.8 ypc allowed) or get some pressure with just four pass rushers. Take note that left tackle Riley Reiff is IN for the Vikes. Minnesota tweaked things to make Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen happier, and they have gone off with big weeks recently. I would like to like the Lions, but I just can't get there. MINNESOTA

JACKSONVILLE at CINCINNATI
BetAnySports Line: Jaguars -4.5 (-105), Total 44 (-102)

When I was looking at this early in the week, I saw a ray of light for the Bengals, because they've been trying hard and getting close and they might be able to run the ball against Jacksonville, which hasn't demonstrated a lot of ability to shut down ground games (5.1 ypc allowed). But then word came down about Cordy Glenn's absence, where things got ugly on the practice field. Glenn doesn't think he's ready to come back from a concussion and thinks the Bengals are rushing him. He asked for a trade, which seems to be the custom these days for guys who don't want to play. With him and backup Andre Smith out, not to mention guard John Miller, there are a lot of holes on that offensive line, and J-Ville's pass rush has been revived. Cincinnati can't stop the run, and that that's how the Jags will travel. There are too many fundamental edges, even as the Jags are without Jalen Ramsey. JACKSONVILLE
