College football upsets cause major shift in odds, Heisman contenders
Well, no one saw that coming. Many college football top teams were upset in Week 6, and not too many sharp bettors projected such a letdown for Alabama. The No. 1 team in the country went down hard Saturday, as Alabama lost to Vanderbilt and seven ranked teams lost including five ranked in the top-11.
Vanderbilt, the perennial punching bag of the SEC, upset Alabama as 24-point underdogs, 40-35.
Vanderbilt Commodores fans didn't just tear down the goal posts at FirstBank Stadium Saturday, they carried them down the streets of Nashville in a most memorable scene.

Heisman Hit
Alabama is still in pretty good position to make the new 12-team College Football Playoff. However, the schedule is tough with road games at Tennessee (Oct. 19), LSU (Nov. 9) and Oklahoma (Nov. 23). But 'Bama QB Jalen Milroe's Heisman chanches took a massive hit in the Crimson Tide's loss despite Milroe passing for 310 yards and 1 TD at nearly 13 yards per pass attempt. Milroe was the favorite to win the Heisman, but now BetOnline and SportsBetting.ag have moved him down.
Odds are subject to change and updated in real time.
On Saturday night, Colorado's WR/CB Travis Hunter was the favorite (3/1), and Boise State State RB Ashton Jeanty (4/1) just behind. But those two have flipped by Monday morning. Jeanty was 100/1 to win the Heisman at the start of the season.
