Betting tips and top picks for Week 12 in the NFL
The NFL heads into Thanksgiving with one remaining unbeaten - Pittsburgh. The Steelers will be part of the Turkey Day feast hosting Baltimore in the prime time game. There is some history between those two teams, but it’s not one of Week 12’s best bets.

Browns @ Jaguars (OVER 48.5)
The Cleveland offense hasn't been much to look at over the past few weeks, but for the first time in several weeks the Browns will not be playing in cold, rainy conditions. This week, they head to Jacksonville.
If you look at the 2020 NFL stats so far, you can see in the first seven games of the season, the Browns games averaged over 60 points per game. If you take out Cleveland's last three games, the Browns average 28.6 points a game. They will go up against a defense that is in short, terrible.
The Jags rank 30th in points allowed per game (29.8), 31st against the pass, and 31st in overall defensive efficiency. Now, Mike Glennon, who hasn’t started an NFL game in quite a while, will get the start for Jacksonville. He’ll go up against a mediocre (at best) Cleveland defense.
Yes, Myles Garrett is tied for the NFL lead in sacks with 9.5, but the Browns rank in the middle of the pack in most statistical categories. The bottom line is Cleveland has put up plenty of points on bad defenses this season while at the same time not stopping opposing offenses.
This game should be fun to watch and go Over the Total.
Bears @ Packers (-7)
Green Bay suffered a tough loss last week at Indianapolis. They'll look to recover at home against NFC North Division foe Chicago in the NFL’s longest-running rivalry. My online sportsbook has the Packers a 7-point home favorite.
This game comes down to two things - Packers QB Aaron Rodgers and Lambeau Field. At home on the frozen tundra, Rodgers is 55-32-3 ATS in his career. He also excels in games within the division where he is 44-26.
Breaking it down even further, Rodgers has done very well against division opponents at Lambeau Field - 22-12 ATS.
If you're thinking Bears on this one, think again. Chicago head coach Matt Nagy was the guy to back during his first NFL season. His Bears went 12-5 ATS, but since the beginning of last season the Bears are 8-17-1 ATS.
Plus, Nagy is 0-2 ATS coming off a bye, which Chicago had last week. Green Bay all the way.

Raiders @ Falcons (OVER 54)
Even though this is a big number, this game is headed toward the Over. Consider Atlanta first. The Falcons can pass and stop the run. On the other side of the ball, Atlanta can’t defend the pass to save its life.
Then, there is the Raiders. Head coach Jon Gruden has been in shootout after shootout. Raiders game totals have gone Over 55 in eight out of ten games. The Total was 53 in one other and the only game under 53 was the rain-soaked 16-6 win over Cleveland.
This game will be played indoors and you can expect Matt Ryan and Derek Carr to have their offenses in high gear.
We had a rough week last week on our NFL Week 11 best bets.
