2020 NFL Week 11 Best Bets

A look at Week 11 of the NFL, with betting tips and three top picks for the week.

Betting tips and top picks for Week 11 in the NFL

The NFL season continues as the race for a playoff spot continues. Pittsburgh remains the lone unbeaten with Kansas City 8-1 in the AFC. Green Bay and New Orleans both sit at 7-2 in the NFC.

The Saints kick things off this week as one of the NFL’s Week 11 best bets.

Falcons (+5) @ Saints

New Orleans has won six games in a row, but the Saints will likely be without QB Drew Brees who suffered some broken ribs last week. That means Jameis Winston or Taysom Hill will play in his place.

Now, the Falcons are just 3-6, but look at what they've done since firing head coach Dan Quinn. Atlanta is 3-1 and playing much better defense. They have also had the benefit of almost two weeks off. The Falcons last game was on Nov. 8, a Thursday night prime time win over Denver.

Atlanta Falcons New Orleans Saints pickFalcons QB Matt Ryan has fared well against the Saints recently. In the last four meetings, Ryan has averaged over 311 passing yards and nearly three touchdown passes per game. WR Calvin Ridley, who suffered a foot injury, should have healed and be ready to go, giving Ryan another capable wideout to go with Julio Jones.

Atlanta has also been able to hold Alvin Kamara in check. Over the past six Falcons-Saints games, Kamara has not scored a single touchdown.

With Brees out and Atlanta playing better, taking the Falcons +5 is one of this week's best bets.

Chiefs (-7) @ Raiders

The Raiders gave the Chiefs their only loss of the season beating Kansas City at Arrowhead Stadium earlier this season. Head coach Andy Reid is looking for some payback in this one on Sunday.

KC Chiefs LA Raiders betting tipsReid is the type of coach that can get that payback. Reid has been exceptionally good against the spread in two distinct situations - on the road and in the division.

Playing away from home under Reid, the Chiefs are 39-19-1 ATS. Against opponents from the AFC West, the Chiefs are 29-15-1 ATS with Reid as their head coach.

If you drill this down even further, Reid's Chiefs are a team to back when they are on the road against an AFC West opponent. In such games, Kansas City is 17-5 ATS.

Throw in Patrick Mahomes career record of 29-14-2 ATS and you can see why the Chiefs to cover is a strong bet in Week 11. Plus, there is that payback.

Eagles (+3) @ Browns

It’s not hard to believe the Eagles are leading the NFC East. What is hard to fathom is that they are doing so with a 3-5-1 record. To make it even more ridiculous, the Eagles are coming off a loss to the Giants.

Top online sportsbooks currently have the Browns a 3-point home favorite with the total set at 47.

Eagles Browns NFL free pickStill, it is worth backing Philadelphia this week against a Browns team that has a subpar defense. Also a factor is the number of players returning to the Eagles lineup. Philadelphia got RB Miles Sanders, plus three offensive linemen - Lane Jackson, Jason Peters, and Isaac Seumalo - back last week.

This week, they will get TE Zach Ertz back. That should help QB Carson Wentz who is having his worst pro season. Regardless, it's the Eagles defense that will be the key.

Philadelphia is 10th in defensive rushing efficiency which means the Eagles should be able to tame the Cleveland duo of Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt. Remember, the Browns have scored just 16 points combined in their last two games.
