Week 3 Pick in the Jazz Survivor Contest

The second week of the NFL season has come and gone, and it's time to make another crucial pick in the Survivor Pool picks in the contest at Jazz Sports. The first two weeks had solid winners for us, but Week 3 presents new challenges. I'm here to provide you with my top picks in the Jazz Sports Survivor Challenge for Week 3. In addition to documenting the picks, whether you're a seasoned bettor or just starting out, these picks will give you the best chance of surviving and thriving in your Survivor pool or to play against and beat OSGA at Jazz Sports. In this article, we will analyze the top survivor pick for Week 3, either the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or the Las Vegas Raiders.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Backing Baker

The Bucs will try to go 3-0 for the first time since 2005 and for just the fifth time in franchise history Sunday against the Denver Broncos. There alot to like about the Buccaneers here. Quarterback Baker Mayfield has a career-best five touchdowns (plus a one on the ground) through the first two games of any season. Last weekend the Bucs beat the Lions despite getting crushed in the yardage game.  And, Tampa Bay is nearly a TD favvorite this week. 

There's almost nothing good to say about the Broncos so far. They are 0-2 to start and 30th in scoring so far. Rookie QB Bo Nix has looked lost and has yet to  throw a TD. In adidtion he is the team's leading rusher with a whopping 60 yards. The only bright spot for Denver? Kicker Will Lutz is 5-5. You know its bad when the FG kicker is the star of the team.

Cincinnati Bengals: Won't start 0-3

The Benglas again have openeed the season 0-2.  After taking gdown 30-35% of all Survivor Pools in Week 1, the Bengals played a tough-fought game vs. the Chiefs and could have esaily won to now be 1-1. This week they are the largest favorite on the board laying 7.5 points at home vs. the Commanders. QB Joe Burrow looked himself last week wtih 285 yards passing. Meanwhile, Jayden Daniels is another roookie without a TD pass yet and hasn't iven Commanders fans much to feel good about. 

Evaluating the Matchup

When making our weekly survivor pick, it's crucial we consider the matchups. Both the Buccaneers and the Bengals have favorable matchups in Week 3. Both teams are facing squads with rookie QBs. Both teams are strong contenders for survivor pool picks ikn week 3.

Making the Decision

Ultimately, the decision between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Cincinnati Bengals comes down to looking ahead, becuase both of these picks loook like strong selections. I think the Bengals will be better used later in the season and right now is the time to use the Bucs, off to a great start with a heathly Baker. The extremely poor play of Denver and Nix, makes Tampa Bay my Week 3 pick. It's essential to consider your own risk tolerance and assess the potential rewards of each pick.
