Operations on the island are now in limbo with many customers, who depend on the company’s money transfer services, forced to seek alternate means. We spoke with several sportsbooks in Antigua who, of course, use Western Union to send and receive money.

They were given ample notice by WU and all that we contacted have alternative methods for WU transfers in place. There may be some restrictions and limits, but at least as far as Antigua Sportsbooks are concerned, it is business as usual.
