ESB players now being told their balances are zero!
At the beginning of the NFL season, customers of English Sports Betting (ESB), our #1 Bad Bet, were told that ESB was sold to Telebet.com, allegedly a new company. Players had to roll their existing ESB balances over 10x and wait until October to b paid. To date – no payouts that we have heard of. In fact, today a player was told that his ESB balance will NOT be honored by Telebet…that Telebet owes this player nothing! The manager at Telebet, Tom, said “If we paid all of the ESB customers, we would be out-of-business”.

November 11, 2005, 11:50 amToday, we got a call from another ESB customer who tried the Telebet route to get paid. He asked for less than $500 of tthe over $10,000 in the account on Monday (the only day Telebet takes payout requests)and has not gotten his control number yet. We are not holding out breath…….

December 21, 2005, 1:18 pmWe wanted to keep this in the forefront as we are still getting no pay complaints on ESB, now Telebet. We received three email complaints over the weekend – all No Pay complaints.
“Will not payout” is the standard complaint. Three players owed a total of over $25,000.
Wake the neighbors, tell the kids – Stay Away from this No Pay sportsbook!

December 21, 2005, 1:23 pmI am an original ESB bettor.I tried to get my $20K balance out from Telebet on December 5th. I was asked when the last time a made a deposit/upgrade was. I said sometime last year. I asked him why should I deposit more in the account when my balance remains +20K? I have had a good year. The manager would not give me his name other than operator #6. He ended up hanging on me.
Whay can we do?
