Rumors abound regarding Sunset Sports

Sunset Sports, opened just this year in Costa Rica, has run into some financial trouble and has been of the ‘net and unavailable via phone for about a week. We recently learned that they approached OSGA Endorsed Sports-Gambling.com to help them from becoming another casualty in the offshore sports betting arena. Sports-Gambling is in early negotiations with the management and ownership of Sunset Sports, but will only make this move if it is right for both companies and the players involved.

BetOnSports buys MVP Sportsbook

The VO-Group, which had been approached by BetonSports two years ago and nearly acquired then, is purchased for a maximum total consideration for the business of US$37 million. BOS today announced a deal that has been in the works for months; the acquisition of several online sportsbooks and casinos trading principally under the names MVPSportsbook, Player Super Book and V-Wager.

It’s official. Marc Lawrence won out over 16 of the best handicappers in the world in the 2005 STARDUST HANDICAPPING TOURNAMENT in Las Vegas to capture the $10,000 first prize award this football season. Marc also finished the 2005 College Football season as the #1 handicapper in win percentage as documented by both the Sports Monitor in Oklahoma and Sports Watch in Las Vegas.
