In the last hour, we were sent a copy of an email that looks like it came from Vantis, the company put in charge of liquidating the entire BETonSPORTS corporation.

This email provides players with a creditor reference number and a login to what appears to be a Vantis operated website. We urge bilked players to proceed with caution as the company has made no announcements of this method of contact/verification.

In addition, we had not seen any notice of this development and this email appears to have come out of the nowhere. We have seen only 1 email copy – not the hundreds we would have expected.

Thus, we have contacted Vantis to find out the validity of this claim email. With all of the phishing scams out there we want to verify that this a legitimate email from Vantis.
