After weeks of players battling it out and grinding for every win, the OSGA football contests for 2014 are coming to an end . . . or are they?
The 2014 OSGA Progressive Pick ‘Em winner for Week 14 was ‘funkymonkey’ who hit 12 games to win the weekly prize of a $100 Free Play at industry leader BetOnline. Week 14 had six players all tied with 12 wins and the outrageous final score on the MNF football game of 80 total points threw a curve at most players. With just three weeks to go, the season prize is still up for grabs and just seven wins separate places 1 through 20.
After 14 weeks and nearly 200 games picked there is tie for the top spot right now between ‘hamper’ and ‘vikingboy’ with 129 total wins!! That is amazing! The Progressive part of the contest was hit several weeks ago, but the prize pool has been growing ever since and is sitting at $300 cash for this week if a player gets all 15 games on the board correct. If no one hits it before the end of the season on December 28th, the final prize pool will be worth $500.
Last night saw just one winner in the Members-only Thursday Night NFL Football Squares contest. ‘Ratel’ cashed first time this season, with the final score! Since no member hit the halftime score, it rolls over! Next week both the halftime and final score will pay out $50 to OSGA Members.
OSGA visitors are urged to keep their eyes firmly on Contest Central starting on Tuesday as we will release our annual College Football Bowl Bonanza contest, where players pick from all of the bowl games and assign points to their top games only. This contest will have sports betting prizes and cash prizes for places 1-10.
Good Luck to everyone this week in the OSGA contests and with all of your wagers.
