After weeks of players battling it out and grinding for every win, the OSGA football contests for 2014 are beginning to take shape.

The 2014 OSGA Progressive Pick ‘Em winner for Week 11 was ‘JROYJR’ who hit just 10 games to win the weekly prize of a $100 Free Play at industry leader BetOnline. ‘JROYJR’ has been on a roll this season as he hit the contest in Week 6 with 12 wins. However, he sits at 20th place overall in the season-long portion of the contest. The season prize is still up for grabs though ‘kenny bigg’ and ‘stormy1114’ have now hit triple digits in total wins. The Progressive part of the contest was hit two weeks ago by ‘Ghostzapper’, so the prize pool is sitting at $200 cash for this week if a player gets all 14 games on the board correct.

The 2014 OSGA College Football Pick ’em is the tougher of our two free football contests. This past week saw ‘justlikestealing’ capture the weekly prize of a giant $250 free play at SpottsBettingOnline. This contest is so tough that we have not had a repeat winner and ‘justlikestealing’ became the second player this season to hit the contest via the “autopick’ function in the contest software.

The OSGA College Football Pick ‘em is set up to allow players to miss two weeks of the contest and still have a shot at the final season prize. This is because the system will autopick for players when they miss a week. The software will do this two times. Players can peruse the standings looking for a small [A] next to selections where the autopick was employed.

There are just three weeks left in the Free College Football contest, and ‘tigersfan’ has a sizeable lead over the rest of the field with 361 total spoints accumulated. The next closest players are in the 330s.

Last night saw two repeat winners in the Members-only Thursday Night NFL Football Squares contest. H8H8rs cashed for the second week in a row, this time with the first half score and ‘Jaws37’ hit the final game score.

OSGA visitors are urged to keep their eyes firmly on Contest Central starting on Monday as we will release our annual Thanksgiving Weekend Football contests, where players can pick from games across all four days of the holiday weekend. This contest will have a sports betting prize and a cash prize. Prizes will be elevated for OSGA Members.
