OSGA Announces Winner of 2024 Super Easy, Super Bowl Contest

OSGA Announces Winner of 2024 Super Easy, Super Bowl Contest

The 10th annual OSGA Super Easy, Super Bowl contest proved not-so-easy for most players.

Super Bowl LVIII is in the books and so is the 10th year for the OSGA Super Easy, Super Bowl contest. The Chiefs come-from-behind, overtime victory sealed the deal for one OSGA member, as ‘djobie‘ was able to pick 7 of the eight prop bets correctly to get 8 total points.

Congratulations go out to ‘djobie’ for his terrific job of making prop picks for the Big Game, garnering more points than any other contestant, despite not picking the Super Bowl LVIII winner. ‘djobie’ cashed in with the winning prize of $250 for his efforts!

‘djobie’ actually sat alone at the top of the leader board with not just the most points, but the most correct props! With more than 6 props correct, in addition to the grand prize, ”djobie’ grabbed an extra prize from reduced-juice leader BetAnySports. BAS gave players who picked 6 or more props right $25 in free betting cash to use at betanysports.eu. ‘GregS’ was right behind our winner with 6 props correct and is also elgible for the betting cash at betanysports.eu.

SBLVIII novelty propsAt OSGA we try to make our annual Super Bowl Contest easy, but two years back increased the number of picks to be crowned the winner. Players had to pick 8 prop bets, up from 6, and the winner of Super Bowl LVIII against the spread. Players also had to pick the total of the Big Game for the tie-breaker and a shot at an extra prize.

This year the Super Easy, Super Bowl contest paid out a whopping $500 for any players who could correctly pick all 8 prop bets. Two of the selections really sunk players’ chances. The big one, picked by over 60% of contest participants, was a shot at 2 points – “Which player scores a TD?”, with Deebo vs KC’s Rashee Rice or neither for 2 points. Almost a trick question, only 38% of players, plus our contest winner had ‘Neither Players Score’ for 2 points. Interestingly, almost every other player picked Deebo! There were also a huge amount of picks for Christian McCaffrey to gain more yards rushing than Travis Kelce receiving. McCaffrey got 80 on the ground (+80 receiving) to Kelce’s 93 yards.

The odd score of 25-22, for a total of 47, kept players from cashing our final game-related prize. The final prize was $50 for any player who picked the exact total for SBLVIII. There were some 45s and two 48s, but no one had that exact, odd final score total.

So, another year of NFL is completed. And OSGA Members cashed in throughout the season. Now, all eyes are turned towards March and the return of the OSGA NCAA Tournament Challenge, where OSGA members will be vying for double prizes throughout the tourney.
