This is not the first time that the San Diego area and its sports teams have been affected by fires. Four years ago, the Chargers moved a Monday night home game due to deadly wildfires as their stadium was bring used for evacuees. This year’s fires have casued San Diego State to reschedule its game with Brigham Young from this Saturday to Dec 1. This game is being played at Qulacomm Stadium, home of the Chargers. The Chargers have already moved thier practices to Phoenix, Arizona and may not be able to host their scheduled game versus the Houston Texans on Sunday afternoon. This game has been taken off the board at sportsbooks around the world as the location for this game may be moved. No books want to put this back up yet, as any bets already placed may end up being no action. Books will wait until a firm decison comes down from the NFL.

The LA Lakers have also cancelled a preseason NBA game against Utah on Thursday night that was to be played at the San Diego Sports Arena.

The NFL has announced that the San Diego Chargers game will be played on Sunday in Qualcomm Stadium as scheduled.
Some shops still do not have a new wager offered. The opening line of -11 is now down to Chargers -9 at Bookmaker, slightly higher at Pinnacle. Please double check any wagers placed prior to this new announcement.
