We contacted several sources today in regards to a report on BETonSPORTS player funds from the Bloomberg News Service via an article we posted from the Caribbean Net News.

Here is some of what we were told.

“The report is false”, stated Kaye McDonald, Director of Offshore Gaming in Antigua. Since then, a Press Release has been issued by the Antigua government stating, “The FSRC, Division of Gaming continues to work with the Directors of BOS to ensure that customers, staff and other creditors’ claims are repaid.”

BETonSPORTS has reported to us that, “There is still an expectation of getting payouts to everybody, or at least a partial payment.” However, we have found that there are no more employees at the company and thus the phone lines are no longer being answered.

The District Attorney in St. Louis confirmed today in a phone interview that the sentencing for BETonSPORTS, plc (the company) has been delayed and the previous date of October 19th has been moved to June 23, 2008, as reported. There is no financial data available yet for players, but BOS will have to produce some records within 60 days.
