About ten days ago we notified to you that BETonSPORTS was moving offices and their toll free contact number would be changed. We just got word from BETonSPORTS that the previous number is the one to use - (866) 481-3057. The calls are still answered on a hit-and-miss basis, but at least there is a way to call them. They apologized for the delay citing phone service in Costa Rica as the problem for the downtime.

After waiting for 75 days, NeTeller today told the world that US customers will have to wait at least a little longer until they can get their money. However, they did mention that they have “worked with Navigant to develop the Distribution Plan. This plan is now agreed and NeTeller is in discussions with the USAO regarding when the Distribution Plan can be implemented.”

The burning question is addressed in the FAQ on this subject at neteller.com: “When will US members get their money back?
NeTeller currently anticipates that implementation of the Distribution Plan will commence upon the resolution of the USAO investigation. NeTeller has advised the USAO that it will use its best efforts to resolve the investigation no later than July 13, 2007.”

US customers will be able to withdrawal all funds once everything is in place with the USAO. Consumers will not be able to make partial withdraws. At this point, everyone that we talk to wants no parts of anything partial anyway….

On March 21, Internet payment giant NeTeller came out after the arrests of its co-founders and subsequent shutting of US accounts with a press release stating, “it signed agreements with the USAO and Navigant which, among other things, outline terms and a timeline under which NETELLER will work toward the orderly distribution of funds to its US customers. Per the agreements, the Group anticipates that within the next 75 days it will announce a plan by which the funds will be distributed to US customers.”

75 days is Monday, June 4. Though we have no idea what may be in this statement, we highly doubt that it will be a note to ‘come pick up your money’ for US players.

On a related note, it will be at least 180 days until the co-founders are brought before a judge for a preliminary trial. The latest hearing has been postponed again until the end of this month.
