We would like to congratulate ‘Roger S’ for winning the OSGA Super Easy, Super Bowl Contest. Roger beat out over 240 contestants to win the $250 CASH Grand Prize.

Roger did get lucky in winning the grand prize for the Super Bowl 50 contest. He hit 6 of the seven proposition bets and had the Broncos winning the game, which was the main caveat in winning a prize, but there were five players who hit 6 props and had the Broncos. The first tie-breaker was the total score without going over. So, of course, every player went OVER the final game score of 34 points!! So, we had to go to the second tie-breaker which was the number of first downs by the winning team. The Broncos only achieved 11 first downs in winning the game. Again all five players went over 11 but ‘Roger S’ was the closest with 14. ‘Mark B’ also hit 6 props but had 16 first downs. Still, he grabbed the second place prize of $50. Three other players came oh-so-close to cashing in as ‘Anthony S’ has 17 first downs to go along with 6 correct picks, ‘Henry D’ had 18 first downs and ‘Robert F’ entered 19 first downs.

The Super Easy, Super Bowl contest did have three players who hit all 7 prop bets!! ‘Jonathan S’, ‘Jeff N’ and ‘Dan B’ hit all 7 prop bets but all picked Carolina to win Super Bowl 50. Unfortunately, despite a flawless record in the prop portion of the contest, the incorrect Super Bowl champ crushed their hopes for collecting a prize.

In addition, the Super Easy, Super Bowl contest awarded OSGA members who correctly picked six of the seven props correctly with a $50 Visa Gift Card. Four OSGA members will be getting the gift card in the mail.

This was the third year that we offered the Super Bowl Squares contest for Members. Congratulations are in order for ‘Richard’, who had the correct square for the final score of Super Bowl 50 and will receive $100 courtesy of OSGA. ‘Mike191’ cashed in on the first quarter for $50 and ‘SRL’ hit the halftime for another $100 to an OSGA Member.

We are extremely happy to see OSGA members cash in on the great contests that we offer throughout the year. The extra contests and prizes awarded to members are one of the biggest benefits of OSGA membership and are a benefit that truly pays members back.
