{"id":237,"date":"2007-10-18T16:41:02","date_gmt":"2007-10-18T20:41:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.osga.com\/wordpress\/?p=237"},"modified":"2008-07-01T22:10:13","modified_gmt":"2008-07-02T02:10:13","slug":"betonsports-update-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.osga.com\/wordpress\/betonsports-update-3\/","title":{"rendered":"BETonSPORTS Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We contacted several sources today in regards to a report on BETonSPORTS player funds from the Bloomberg News Service via an article <a href=\"http:\/\/www.osga.com\/artman\/publish\/article_5834.shtml\" target=\"_new\">we posted<\/a> from the Caribbean Net News. <\/p>\n<p>Here is some of what we were told.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The report is false&#8221;, stated Kaye McDonald, Director of Offshore Gaming in Antigua. Since then, a <a onclick=\"javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('\/outgoing\/www.antiguagaming.gov.ag\/press\/press_release_35.asp');\"  href=\"http:\/\/www.antiguagaming.gov.ag\/press\/press_release_35.asp\" target=\"_new\">Press Release<\/a> has been issued by the Antigua government stating, &#8220;The FSRC, Division of Gaming continues to work with the Directors of BOS to ensure that customers, staff and other creditors\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 claims are repaid.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>BETonSPORTS has reported to us that, &#8220;There is still an expectation of getting payouts to everybody, or at least a partial payment.&#8221; However, we have found that there are no more employees at the company and thus the phone lines are no longer being answered.<\/p>\n<p>The District Attorney in St. Louis confirmed today in a phone interview that the sentencing for BETonSPORTS, plc (the company) has been delayed and the previous date of October 19th has been moved to June 23, 2008, as reported.
