The shootout will affect the outcome……
For hockey betting purposes, if the game is tied at the end of regulation and overtime, the result of the winner of the SHOOTOUT will be given one goal. For example: at the end of overtime the game is tied at 2-2, then whoever wins the shootout will be declared the winner and the final score will be 3-2, regardless of how many goals get scored by either team in the SHOOTOUT. Every book we contacted, including Las Vegas, will be handling hockey this way.
