Andy Reid can achieve a certain degree of immortality if he can lead the Kansas City Chiefs to a Super Bowl 57 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Andy Reid was born in Los Angeles on March 19, 1958, and BetOnline patrons could probably pull up some footage of him competing in a Rams uniform in a Punt, Pass & Kick competition at the L.A. Coliseum.

It's safe to say he was probably the only kid in that lineup with a chance to be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton.

He can cement that with a victory in Super Bowl LVII, where as of the time of this writing, his Kansas City Chiefs are a slight underdog to the Philadelphia Eagles:

Philadelphia Eagles -1
Kansas City Chiefs +1

Over 51 Points -110
Under 51 Points -110

Reid began his coaching career in 1982 as a graduate assistant coach at Brigham Young University. From there, he worked his way up through the college and professional ranks, serving as an assistant coach for several college and NFL teams, including the Green Bay Packers, the Missouri Southern Lions, the San Francisco 49ers, and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Reid's head coaching career began in 1999, when he was hired by the Eagles. During his 14 seasons with the Eagles, he led the team to five NFC East titles, seven playoff appearances, and a trip to Super Bowl XXXIX in 2004, where they lost to the New England Patriots. Despite the loss in the Super Bowl, Reid is widely regarded as one of the most successful coaches in Eagles' history.

In 2013, Reid was hired as the head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs. In his first season with the team, he led the Chiefs to a 11-5 record and a trip to the playoffs, where they lost in the first round. In his second season, the Chiefs won the AFC West division and advanced to the playoffs, where they lost in the wild card round. In 2015, the Chiefs won the division again and made it to the playoffs, but lost in the divisional round. In 2016, the Chiefs won their third straight division title and advanced to the AFC Championship game, where they lost to the New England Patriots.

However, the following year, Reid finally reached the summit of success in his career, as the Chiefs won Super Bowl LIV against the San Francisco 49ers with a 31-20 victory. Reid became just the third coach in NFL history to win a Super Bowl after previously losing one. He was also the oldest head coach to win a Super Bowl at the age of 61.

Reid's coaching style has been described as a mix of West Coast offense, power running, and aggressive defense. He is widely regarded as one of the best play-callers in the NFL, and is known for his innovative game plans and ability to adapt to his players' strengths. He is also known for his ability to develop and motivate players, and for his strong relationships with his players and staff.

Off the field, Reid is known for his philanthropy and commitment to giving back to his community. He and his wife, Tammy, have established the Andy and Tammy Reid Foundation, which supports organizations that serve at-risk youth and families in need.

In conclusion, Andy Reid is a highly successful NFL coach who has made a significant impact on the sport over the course of his career. He has led several teams to success and has been widely praised for his coaching style and ability to develop and motivate players. He is a true legend in the NFL, and will be remembered as one of the greatest coaches in the history of the sport.
