PGA Picks and Preview for Signature Event at Harbour Town and RBC Heritage
Following the first major of the year at The Masters where we cashed in again on top players including Rory McIlroy outright and Cameron Young, Tommy Fleetwood and Ludvig Aberg in tournament matchups (3-1), the top PGA Tour pros head 140 miles Southeast to Hilton Head Island for the 2026 RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links.
Finding the best odds is key to cashing in on winning bets. I had Cameron Young (40/1) to win The Masters bet weeks before in March, and he closed near 20/1, but I cashed better payouts top 5/10/20 despite just missing an outright win while playing in the final group Sunday with McIlroy. The variance of golf and picking winners, especially at longer odds, continued with Young posting his worst golf stats and score (73) of the tournament in the final round.
The $20 million RBC Heritage Signature Event drew a field of 82 top players including 26 of the top 30 players in the world rankings. But not Rory McIlroy, who joined elite golfers winning his 6th major championship and 30th PGA Tour title at The Masters. Google and see my RBC Heritage golf betting preview last year in Forbes for more course insight and added information you can bet on including tournament facts. Harbour Town is a 7,243 yard course with the smallest greens on Tour (ave. 3,700 sq. ft) and water in play on 18 holes. It's a shorter and tight tree-lined positional course where top ball strikers and shot shapers excel. Following a 2025 restoration, Harbour Town Golf Links now features more refined bentgrass greens adding to the classic Pete Dye layout.
Added picks and props here at OSGA, where World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is the favorite again at Harbour Town as the 2024 champion with a winning score of 265, or 19-under par. Justin Thomas (-17) won last year in a playoff over Andrew Novak with notables Berger, Harman, McNealy, Fleetwood, Henley, Scheffler and Si Woo Kim all finishing top 10. Matt Fitzpatrick (-17) in 2023 and Jordan Spieth (-13) in 2022 are other recent winners at Harbour Town. Patrick Cantlay has three top 3 finishes in his last four appearances at the RBC Heritage including T13 last year closing on Sunday with his worst score (71) in his last 16 rounds at Harbour Town.
Stats Leaders
Key strokes gained stats to identify for players of interest include SG: Approach, Around the Green and Ball Striking with fairway's gained, Greens in Regulation and Scrambling stats key to success.

Last year's winner Justin Thomas fired a course-tying record 61 to take the first round lead with Scheffler and Henley shooting 64. Thomas won the 2025 RBC Heritage at 17/1 odds with the next five players (2nd, T3) having odds from 45/1 to 125/1 - Novak, Berger, McNealy, Hughes, Harman. Xander Schauffle finished top 20 the last two years at Harbour Town, and 4th in the 2023 RBC Heritage with his lowest score in the event at 15-under par.

Check back for RBC Heritage tournament matchups and picks posted Wednesday. BetOnline and BookMaker also allow bettors to wager on matchups, laying or taking 1.5 strokes. That’s what we did on Si Woo Kim at The American Express in his T6 finish after leading into the final round.
Fairway's Forecast and PGA tournament matchups started the year 3-0 and are now 14-4 following The Masters with a best week of 4-0 in the Cognizant Classic. Majors and Signature Event matchups posted at OSGA are 5-3. You can follow my weekly PGA Tour coverage, updates and picks at Vegas Sports Zone.
The Majors and Signature Events posted at Off Shore Gaming Association included The Genesis Invitational, where our tournament matchups went 2-0 including a big 'Dog winner on McIlroy over Scheffler. The Masters matchups were 2-1 at OSGA with top player profiles and stats provided, and 3-1 overall with player analysis and stats added at VSZ.
With no regulated sports betting in South Carolina, or the Sunshine state in Florida for other big golf tournaments including the Arnold Palmer Invitational Signature Event, golf fans and bettors turn to offshore betting options and prediction markets, which is causing more confusion worldwide. We had Hovland (T13) at the API over Knapp in a tournament matchup, but Jake Knapp withdrew just before his tee time Thursday causing a stir in the betting community, and no action per golf rules.
By the way, the Senior PGA Championship is this week at the Jack Nicklaus-designed Consession Golf Club (6,936 yards) in Bradenton, Florida. Stewart Cink and Zach Johnson are the favorites (+600), and Cink won the RBC Heritage three times and Johnson was runner-up in 2012. Zach Johnson won his PGA Tour Champions debut last month just two weeks after turning 50 years old, and Cink won the latest PGA Champions event in Newport Beach.
