The total in this Sunday night skirmish has exploded from 49 to 51.5. There is no doubting the reasoning, with Detroit averaging over 40 PPG since their opening day setback. Patrick Mahomes has Kansas City clicking with 65 total points in the past eight quarters, while giving up 51 in the same time span.  Update: This total has gone further north, all the way to 53. Take note, the Lions are 13-3 OVER away when the total is 45.5 or higher, and the drill down is 6-0 OVER on the road with the total at 49.5 or larger. Still, we are four higher from the original release. Do you dare grab the high number? Consider this: When the total is 49.5 or higher and a team like K.C. is off an upset loss as a favorite, against an opponent after a road game where both teams scored 24 or more points, the UNDER is 24-5.
