Betting tips and predictions for Thanksgiving Day NFL games

My partner on today's Winners Circle video, Sean Higgs and I take a look at the Thanksgiving Day NFL card. In addition, we make predictions for Buffalo at Detroit and the Cowboys vs. the NY Giants. Read below and watch the video for some NFL betting advice for Turkey Day.

New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys Preview and Pick
Thanksgiving Day at 4:30PM ET
Current Line: Dallas -10, Total 45.5 at BetOnline

The Giants and Cowboys are both 7-3 teams, but that's where any comparisons must end. Because, the NY Giants are pretenders. Their winning margin per game is 0.1 PPG and they have barely outgained opponents despite four wins over .500. Dallas has an 8+ PPG differential and sound more like the 7-3 squad to me.

Cowboys NFL free pickOver the last five years, Dallas has won ten of the 11 matchups between these two teams and covered in nine of those games. And yes, the Giants are a better team in 2022, but so are the Cowboys. A resurgence on the offensive side of the ball has produced an average of 39 PPG and over 440 yards of offense. The Giants are banged up and if the Cowboys jump out to a lead, it's going to be awfully hard for Saquon Barkley and co. to keep up.

These two teams met back in Week 3 and Dallas prevailed 21-6, in a game that was closer than the final score indicated. But, the Dallas D forced four turnovers and Dak Prescott was on the IL. This is a feels like a big number, but there is more in the video below to back the Cowboys here. I going to lay the 9.5 points on America's Team.

Buffalo Bills at Detroit Lions Preview
Thanksgiving Day at 12:30PM ET
Current Line:
Buffalo -9.5, Total 54.5 at GTBets

The Bills played in Detroit last Sunday because their home game against Cleveland moved from Orchard Park, which ended up getting many feet of snow.NFL Thanksgiving Day predictions But, the Bills did not stay in the Motor City and instead went home for two days! QB Josh Allen was looking like a shoo-in for the NFL MVP awards, but has been less-than-stellar over the last few weeks, including back-to-back losses where he pitched two interceptions in each game.

Shockingly, Detroit has won three games in a row. Yes, the first two were against Chicago and Green Bay, but the Lions dominated last week in the Meadowlands against the Giants. In their last five games, the Lions have been, well, competitive and have gone 3-1-1 ATS. And in the traditional Thanksgiving game at home they are getting 9.5 points at the top online sportsbooks. Favorites of more than a touchdown have struggled to cover this season, making this a great NFL betting matchup and Sean offers much more info and his free pick in the video
