It's not the easiest thing to evaluate NFL props on a game where the weather promises to play a big factor. That is the case for Monday night in Seattle, as the Seahawks play host to the New Orleans Saints. Game time is 8:15 PM ET at Lumen Field (formerly CenturyLink Field), with television from ESPN.

Let's take a look at a few of the props that are going to be available at BetOnline.

Alex Collins - Rushing Yards

In case you don't know it, Collins will be Seattle's primary running back option in this game, with Chris Carson injured. Collins has been around for a while; he was originally a member of the Seahawks but then wound up in Baltimore, where he had a season where he gained 973 yards on the ground for the Ravens.

Collins went over 100 yards against the Pittsburgh Steelers last week, helping the Seahawks come from behind to force overtime. As such, he has likely become a more dependable option than Deejay Dallas or Rashard Penny.

So he will get the ball, and with the near-certainty of rain and high winds (and a day after a thunderous storm ripped through the area), the Seahawks will have almost no choice but to lean on the running game.

Don't forget that head coach Pete Carroll is a great proponent of the ground game; it's just that he hasn't always had the right backs to make it happen in a big way. With Russell Wilson out and Geno Smith playing quarterback, it is important to take pressure off the backup too.

Jameis Winston - Passing Yards

Winston, the former Heisman Trophy winner, has demonstrated the ability to pass for a lot of yards. And he has shown just as much ability to turn the ball over. It was the mission of coach Sean Payton, who collaborated with Drew Brees for many years on a short passing attack, to turn Winston into a better game manager by pulling back on the reins.

Through the first five games of the season, he has thrown just three interceptions, projected to about 10 for the full season. A little math would indicate that is much less than the 30 picks he threw for Tampa Bay in 2019, which ultimately led to the Bucs dropping him and signing Tom Brady (good move).

The Saints have, in effect, transformed themselves into an offense that is "run first," and the only NFL team to run the ball more time than it has passed it. And they've got some attrition in the receiver corps, as Tre'Quan Smith and Deonte Harris will both miss this game. New Orleans is also still waiting to find out when record-setting wideout Michael Thomas (ankle injury) is going to be available.

So we are thinking UNDER here.

Well, maybe the Seattle wide receivers cancel each other out, but they are without question the better duo than what the Saints have.

I did not really figure Kamara for someone who would have a lot of receiving yards. In fact, he's only got 113 on the season. But considering that the Saints may be doing some short passing, dropping off to the backs, maybe this number is kind of inviting.
