NCAA Tournament 2024 Sweet Sixteen Teams, Matchups and Odds
Time to dance into the Sweet Sixteen, and all the top 1 seeds and three of the 2 seeds remain in the 2025 NCAA Tournament. The top teams in the South and Midwest regions remain with No. 1's Auburn and Houston along with No. 2's Michigan State and Tennessee. The East and West regions still have No. 1's Duke and Florida into the Sweet 16 along with No. 2 Alabama in the East. But St. John's was knocked out of the tournament by No. 10 Arkansas - the highest remaining seed left after No. 12 Colorado State fell to No. 4 Maryland Sunday on a buzzer beater. A pair of No. 3 seeds remain in Kentucky and Texas Tech while No. 4 seeds Arizona, Maryland and Purdue now go to battle against No. 1 seeds in the Sweet Sixteen along with No. 5 seed Michigan.
I’ve chipped in some March Madness Sweet Sixteen coverage in Forbes, and provide the betting lines and TV coverage for March Madness and the biggest betting event of the year for the leading online sportsbooks. The thousands of March Madness contests and bracket pools keep fans more interested and engaged, and especially this year with 9 of the top 12 seeds still alive and just one longshot still in the tournament.

Sweet Sixteen Picks
I've actually bet much less on college basketball during March Madness with limited handicapping through the new year as I traveled and worked as able remotely. Probably a good thing with more favorites continuing to cover and advance in victories with favorites in the opening two rounds 36-12 SU and 26-22 ATS. I did bet underdogs UCONN, Colorado State and New Mexico along with Michigan State/New Mexico under in the Round of 32. Game totals are 20-27-1 over/under with unders cashing more. Additonal college basketball coverage to review including stats and game recaps.
I'll add a few picks in days ahead for the Sweet 16 and recall a 3-0 result posting here at OSGA in last year's Sweet Sixteen.
