The final game of NFL Week 14 action is between a pair of disappointing teams on Monday Night Football. The Cincinnati Bengals (4-8) and Dallas Cowboys (5-7) will both finish below their season win total of 10.5. Both teams were projected be contenders in the AFC and NFC. I'm adding the Cowboys to our Week 14 NFL underdog picks as a home 'Dog at the leading online sportsbooks.

The Bengals allowed more than 300 yards passing against their zone last week to Russell Wilson in a 44-38 home loss to the Steelers. The Bengals sieve defense has allowed at least 34 points and 7.2 yards per play to three playoff teams in their current 3-game losing streak. Cincinnati ranks in the bottom quartile of the league in total defense, as does Dallas, with both teams allowing 360-370 yards per game and 5.8 yards per play. The Cowboys have won 2 division games in a row following a 4-game losing streak, and their defense is healthier and putting more pressure on the quarterback. The Dallas defense had 13 QB hits and 6 sacks plus 2 more takeaways including a pick-six in last week's win over the Giants. The offense is playing better including QB Cooper Rush, who has not had a TO in the last two games, and the running game had it's best week since early last season in the win over the Giants. 

The Bengals aren't constructed well enough around top quarterback 'Cool' Joe Burrow. He's a top-3 QB in my picks, and leads the AFC in passing with 3,337 yards this season with a 30-5 TD-to-INT ratio. Burrow has led the Bengals to 30 or more points in six games this season. Four of those were losses, which ties the most in a season in NFL history. But beyond the best of Burrow, we expect Dallas' defense to apply more pressure as they did last week and the Cowboys get the cash against the striped Cats as home 'Dog.
