America's Card Room has been offering the Online Super Series all month and this Sunday is one of the biggest days yet, loaded with over 2.5 million in GTD tournaments, including Day 1 of the OSS Main Event.
February is the time when America's Card Room pulls out all the stop and offers players a ton of action and a ton of guaranteed prize money. The Online Super Series (OSS) runs from February 6th to March 7th and offers up $25 Million in total guarantees. It includes three multi-flight tourneys; $2.5 Million ($630 buy-in), $1 Million PKO ($215 buy-in) and $250,000 ($22 buy-in) that has its Day 2 on Monday, March 7th, plus an additional three $1 Million events. But this Sunday, there are big prize pools for players and opportunities to get started in the Big Online Super Series (BOSS).
The action starts with three BOSS flights at 10AM ET and three GTD tournaments at noon that have a total prize pool of $750,000. Then at 2 PM the day kicks into high gear with the $1,000,000 GTD Main Event [Day1], featuring a $600 buy-in. At 12:30 PM the $500,000 GTD [Day 1] starts for higher rollers, with a whopping $1,000 buy-in. Also at 12:30 there is a lower $200 buy-in for the Sunday Special, with a $400,000 GTD prize pool.
For Omaha players a massive $80,000 GTD is on the line at 4:30 PM with the PLO8 variety of the game, played with four hole cards and five board cards. The tournament is another in the OSS Series, but No-Limit Holdem is on the slate for the remainder of the day, with the $100,000 GTD MegaStack firing up at 6:30 PM. Two more guaranteed tourneys also start at 6:30 with buy-ins less than $10 and five figures on the line.
