Hot Betting Events for the July 4th Weekend

Huge betting opportunities are on tap for the holiday weekend. Check out the betting tips for the NBA Playoffs, Euro 2020 and the Stanley Cup Finals.

The NHL may crown a champion this weekend and the NBA Finals await the winner of the Eastern Conference Finals. In soccer action, the EURO 2020 heads into the quarterfinals and the tournament is wide open after France and Germany went down in the Round of 16.

NHL: Stanley Cup

The magic season for the Montreal Canadiens appears to be coming to an end. Though they have put up a good fight against the offensive juggernaut that is the Tampa Bay Lightning, the find themselves down 2-0 after losing 5-1 and 3-1 in the first two games. But don't expect the Canadiens to go quietly into the night. The Cup Finals head north of the border this weekend and it's a good bet that Montreal will win one of the two games, sending the finals back down to Florida.

The last time the Canadiens played at home they beat the Vegas Knights to head to the finals. Despite that, they are +115 underdogs at the top online sportsbooks for Game 3.

Surprisingly, there are still some series props available and though the Lightning to hoist the Cup is over -1200, Tampa to win the series 4 games to 1 is priced at +210 at industry giant BetOnline.

NBA Finals

The NBA Eastern Conference Finals will end this weekend to determine who will face the Phoenix Suns for the NBA Championship. Game 5 tips off tonight at 8:30PM in Milwaukee with the series tied 2-2. The Bucks are 2.5 point favorites with a total of 215 at BetAnySports and most outlets in Vegas.

Despite the injury to Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks are still favored to head to the Finals. Game 6 is scheduled for Saturday in Atlanta and Game 7 will be on the 4th, if  necessary.

to say that Atlanta is banged up would be an understatement. In addition to top scorer Trae Young nursing a bone bruise he suffered in Game 3, Center Clint Capela is combating with right eye inflammation and guard Bogdan Bogdanovic has been battling knee soreness all series, but has played in every game.

The Bucks have suffered from some terrible shooting so far in the series, firing at just 29% from beyond the arc in the Finals. Star guard Chris Middleton is the leading bricklayer, shooting just over 10.5 percent on pull-up 3s against Atlanta and 27.6 percent in the playoffs. This is a team that made 38.9 percent of their 3s in the regular season and they have to fix that to win two out of the next 3 games.

Meanwhile, the Hawks figured out how to win without Young in Game 4 and were ahead when the Greek Freak went down. The Bucks had a losing record during the regular season when Giannis was not on the floor. The Hawks are +115 to advance to the finals at BookMaker.eu.

Soccer: Euro 2020 Quarterfinals

Four of the top teams have already been eliminated and the field is now down to eight teams. Since pre-tournament favorite France lost a penalty shootout to Switzerland, England has been installed as the new betting favorite at +175 to win the Euro Cup

Spain has been the surprise of the tournament so far. The team was built for turning their dominance of possession into goals, but has hit the back of the net 10 times in their last two matches to get to the quarterfinals. Oddsmakers have taken notice and the Spaniards are the second favorite to win the Cup, listed at 3-1.
