Eagles-Chiefs Highlight NFL 2025 Week 2 Picks, Props And Parlays

FairwayJay chips in NFL Week 2 picks, props and parlays highlighted by Eagles-Chiefs Super Bowl rematch. Longterm winning strategies and advice with information you can bet on.

Week 2 NFL predictions and Picks

The Packers pounded the Commanders 27-18 with decisive stats edges to kickoff NFL Week 2 Thursday. More strategies and advice includes tips, totals and teasers as NFL Week 2 invariably provides more surprises and upsets. It's also one of my favorite weeks as I provided a 10-0 ATS bankroll booster many years ago in NFL Week 2 picks. The Eagles-Chiefs Super Bowl rematch highlights our NFL 2025 Week 2 picks, props and parlays.

This week I add more underdog picks knowing we also had a 7-year-run of 57% ATS winners posting only NFL underdog picks at Off Shore Gaming Association - until last year's record winners on favorites from Week 11 on sent us to a losing season. Leading online sportsbooks post the betting lines and bettors bias kicks in often over-reacting to recent results.

Eagles-Chiefs

We had the Eagles as a top pick in last year's Super Bowl, and they destroyed the Chiefs as underdog. With the best offensive line in football, and strong defensive front that was minus DT Jalen Carter last week (ejected), Philly rolled to a Week 1 win over Dallas 24-20. Eagles Chiefs free pickThe Eagles edges at the point of attack were evident again with 150 rushing yards on 30 carries to 119 (22) for the Cowboys. Penalties were a problem for the Eagles last week (9/110), but zero turnovers and key plays when needed by QB Jalen Hurts sends the Eagles into Week 2 as a 1-point road favorite at Kansas City after the Chiefs were beaten in Brazil by the Chargers for a cash payout in 27-21 win.

The Eagles project to have a sizeable rushing edge in this matchup again with OPOY RB Barkley leading the way with Hurts duel threat. See some of the ATS angles and situations supporting the Chiefs, who are 15-2 ATS under QB Mahomes as a 'Dog or pick 'em, including 7-0 ATS versus foes
not coming off a double-digit win (Playbook Sports). But I'll stick with the fundamentals and edges at the point of attack and Fly Eagles Fly to victory again with top online sportsbook BetOnline dealing the game at Pick 'em end of the week. Pick: Eagles

Bills-Jets

Speaking of rushing to the window, the Jets figure to pound the ground again as a big home 'Dog vs. rival Buffalo. New York was the only team to lose straight up last week when outrushing their opponent by at least 30 yards, and the Jets did cover as home 'Dog in 34-32 defeat. The stats were dominant in the ground game with Jets 182 yards rushing on 39 attempts to just 53 rushing yards for the Steelers on 20 carries. The Bills miraculous comeback win over the Ravens 41-40 saw them with a 1% chance to win in the final four minutes down 40-25. The Ravens ran roughshed over the Bills 238 (29) to 108 (31), but managed to blow the game. This sets up well for similar duel threat QB Justin Fields off perhaps the best game of his career last week while RB Breece Hall figures to have another solid shot at 100+ yards rushing like last week along with top talented WR Garrett Wilson (95), who was the top target of Fields last week. This is the setup we look for on underdogs, especially home 'Dogs despite line moving from Jets +7 to +6.5. Pick: Jets

NFL Player Props

Eagles WR DeVonta Smith - Over 58.5 receiving yards. With both WR's Worth and Rice out for the Chiefs, we target the projected winning team and slot WR DeVonta Smith of the Eagles. He was not a factor in the Week 1 win over Dallas with 3 catches for 16 yards. But the matchups are more favorable against the Chiefs, who ranked in the bottom quartile of targets to slot receivers last year. Recall Smith went off in the two Super Bowl games vs. the Chiefs leading the Eagles in receiving yards with 100 and 69. In four games vs. KC, Smith has produced nearly 400 yards receiving averaging 6 catches per game with a touchdown. He's gone over 98 receiving yards three times vs. the Chiefs. The O/U number is up, but note that TE Goedert is out for the Eagles and Smith's production has increased by more than 27% in receiving yards without Goedert playing, and at least 8% in targets and receptions. You can also take a nice plus price with 70+ receiving yards on Smith.
