MGM Resorts announced today several shows and entertainment offerings at three different Las Vegas Strip resorts will be back on November 6: David Copperfield, Jabbawockeez and Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club at MGM Grand; “Thunder From Down Under” and “The Australian Bee Gees Show” at Excalibur; and Carrot Top and “Fantasy” at Luxor.

All shows will hold a maximum audience of 250 people with six feet of distance between parties and a 25-foot separation between audience and stage. Some events have been moved to new venues to accommodate safety guidelines. More information and tickets can be found at mgmresorts.com.

“After eight months, it’s time to bring entertainment back to the Entertainment Capital of the World,” said George Kliavkoff, MGM Resorts’ President of Entertainment and Sports. “While there is still a long road in our city’s recovery, the reintroduction of these shows is an important first step.”

Kliavkoff said MGM plans to continue working with state and local officials to eventually return even more live entertainment events to these and other properties.

At MGM Grand, David Copperfield will return to his eponymous theater (which normally seats around 750) for nightly performances at 7 and 9:30 p.m. with an additional 4 p.m. show on Saturday. Dance troupe Jabbawockeez will move from the nearby casino showroom to the massive MGM Grand Garden Arena for performances at 7 p.m. Thursday through Monday with additional 9:30 p.m. shows Friday and Saturday. And Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club, located near the resort’s parking garage along its Underground promenade, will move to the property’s Studio A and B ballrooms situated near the arena for stand-up comedy performances at 7 and 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

At Luxor, both Carrot Top and the “Fantasy” revue will be moving from their traditional home in the 350-seat Atrium Showroom on the resort’s second level to the larger casino-level theater formerly housing Cirque du Soleil’s “R.U.N” production, now simply called Luxor Theater. Carrot Top will take the stage at 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday with “Fantasy” returning at 10:30 p.m. nightly.

Excalibur’s Thunderland Showroom will continue to host “The Australian Bee Gees Show” at 6 p.m. nightly except Tuesday and Saturday and male revue “Thunder From Down Under” at 8:30 p.m. nightly except Tuesday with 11 p.m. performances tacked on Friday and Saturday and a 6 p.m. show on Saturday.

The first Strip casino show to return to live performances after being shut down in mid-March is “X Country,” reopening Thursday at Harrah’s Las Vegas. “Absinthe” at Caesars Palace and Piff the Magic Dragon’s show at Flamingo reopen next week.
