Preview and Picks for NCAA Football Week 12
The closing weeks of the college football regular season will determine the teams for the first-ever 12-team College Football Playoff. And it may not include preseason No. 1 Georgia, who lost 28-10 last Saturday at Ole Miss - another winning pick and bet as part of our Week 11 college football Top 25 coverage.
The Week 11 Picks and Opinions posted here at Off Shore Gaming Association went 7-4 ATS overall on our biggest college football card of the season. That despite Oklahoma (-2.5 / 3) taking even more money before suffering a crushing loss at Missouri, 30-23. The Sooners (5-5) are now in danger of missing the bowl season for the first time in 27 years - the longest streak of consecutive bowl appearances in college football. Oklahoma led Mizzou by 7 points with 2 minutes remaining when the Tigers scored a touchdown and PAT to tie the game. Oklahoma gets the ball and then fumbles and a Mizzouri defender returns it for a touchdown with 22 seconds remaining. Ouch. Oklahoma has a bye this week, and the Sooners now must beat either Alabama or LSU on the road to get a Bowl bid.
On to Week 12 with Top 25 odds, picks and opinions. Delayed, and I'll get this posted and shoot to add more analysis, ATS updates and information you can bet on by Saturday morning.

Tennessee at Georgia
This line continues to fall in support of our Pick on Tennessee, and has even dipped to single-digits at select online sportsbooks. For ease of reference and less repetition, see my game analysis in Forbes on the Volunteers and Bulldogs knowing that Tennessee is a defensive dominator catching double-digits and part of the handicap which produced our big game betting winner on Ole Miss over Georgia outright last week.
Missouri at South Carolina
This line has peaked at SC -14 with more bettors hoping the 'Cocks rise to the occasion. A respected sports handicapping service released the game total and bettors pounded the under, driving the O/U from 44.5 to 41.5 points. I Lean the 'Cocks way, but know you're paying a premium for the Puxxy.
Other Picks and Opinions
Pick: Utah (+13) at Colorado
Opinion: Wisconsin (+14) - select sportsbooks showing +14

Utah at Colorado - I know the Utes are battling injuries and quarterback issues as they prepare for the Rumble in the Rockies. That's another reason why the line keeps rising, -12.5 to -13 and even -13.5. The preseason Big 12 favorites Utah Utes (4-5) are struggling through a disappointing season, and just 1-5 in Big 12 play. Meanwhile, coach Prime has the Colorado Buffaloes (7-2) stampeding their way towards a potential Big 12 championship appearance, currently 5-1 in conference play. The Buffaloes are also 7-2 ATS, including 6-0 ATS in Big 12 play. All that has led to much value on Utah, who would have been more than a TD favorite over the Buffs opening week (-7.5, see Big 12 link).
Utah enters on a 0-5 SU, 1-5 ATS run with their only cover last week in a give-it-away game loss to BYU 22-21 - a Week 12 ATS winner for us on the Utes (+3). Could it be an emotional letdown following the Holy War and the Utes shot their wad for the last time and big game vs. BYU? Utah has underperformed terribly all season, losing to the spread by more than 130 points. Colorado won last week at Texas Tech 41-27 in a misleading final and loser for us on TT, who out-gained the Buffs 388-351 but suffered a net -3 turnover margin. More mistakes and miscues were costly for the Red Raiders, but bottom line is you're paying a huge premium to bet on the Buffaloes, and it's time to sell and take the value on Utah and still the superior coaching of Whittingham. And hope it's not a downer.
You can bet on it.
