Week 4 Betting Odds And Advice

The league's international series begins this week with the Minnesota Vikings and Pittsburgh Steelers playing the first-ever NFL regular-season game to be held at the historic Croke Park stadium in Dublin, Ireland. The Vikings (2-1) and Steelers (2-1) are co-division leaders in the NFC North and AFC North into Week 4. Scoring is now averaging 46 points per game (45.9) this season, but NFL offenses are averaging only 318 yards per game in 2025 - the lowest average since 2005, per Tru Media.

Vikings Steelers Ireland NFL NetworkThe NFL Network will broadcast the game nationally in the U.S. with kickoff scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time, ahead of the early wave of Sunday games in the U.S. For radio listeners on Westwood One, Kate Scott will become the first woman to serve as a play-by-play announcer for a Westwood One regular-season NFL broadcast as she pairs with the former Vikings great TE, Kyle Rudolph.

Just three division games this week starting with the Thursday night kickoff in Arizona between AFC West foes Seahawks and Cardinals. Both teams are 2-1 and in the only division where all four teams have winning records into the final games of September. Leading online sportsbook BetOnline reports that the Seahawks are taking more than 80% of the spread bets against the Cardinals.

The two other division games feature all four winless teams. So the Titans-Texans loser Sunday and Jets-Dolphins loser on Monday will fall to 0-4. The Giants and Saints are the other two teams in NFC who are 0-3 and big underdogs including the Saints taking back 16.5 points at Buffalo. The Bills (3-0) are one of six teams who remain undefeated into Week 4.

Home underdogs are just 5-14 SU and 7-12 ATS thus far this season.

NFL Week 4 Tips, Totals and Teasers

Last Sunday's NFL Week 3 tips and total made it to top play and was a never in doubt 'under' winner in the Browns 13-10 upset win over the Packers. Cleveland was also one of our Week 3 picks as a big 'Dog. More winners on the Monday Night Football Week 3 feature Detroit at Baltimore with a Lions high-scoring 38-30 win and top player prop winner.

Indianapolis Colts at Los Angeles Rams - Over 49.5

What can you say about the Rams (+3.5) loss last week, and disgusting and disbelieving game-ending blocked field goal return TD to cost (us) Rams bettors in the Eagles 33-26 win. The Rams led 26-7 in the second half and held the stats edges including 160-86 rushing. This week the Rams host the upstart and undefeated Colts (3-0), who are No. 2 in the league in scoring (34.3 ppg) and yardage (418 ypg) after piling up 41 points in victory over the Titans last week. The Rams (364 ypg) are also top-10 in offense and scoring (24.3), but averaging nearly 30 points per game their last two contests after a slow start in Week 1 against the Titans.

Colts Rams prediction free pick winnerThe Colts also piled up 473 yards at 7.1 yards per play against a stronger Broncos defense in a fortunate 29-28 win in Week 2. On the fast indoor track, it's a notable trend that non-division dome teams playing each other are 16-2 over/under since 2010, per Playbook Sports. The Totals Tipsheet adds that NFL teams off a SU and ATS division road win (Colts) in which they were favored by -4 or greater points are 14-2 over/under since 2021.

Both the Colts and Rams have a +1.6 yards per play margin, but the Rams have played the tougher schedule of opponents with the Colts posting two one-sided wins over the Titans and Dolphins. Indy was +1.1 yards per play better than the Broncos in a fortunate win. The Rams were much better against the Titans, a common opponent, with LA outgaining Tennessee on the road 439-252 with a +3.5 yards per play margin vs. Indianapolis 365-282 yards edge and +2.6 yppl margin over the Titans last week.

LA Rams free pickAlong with creative coaches and top offensive minds, two capable and competent quarterbacks should shine, especially Matthew Stafford against a Colts defense that ranks bottom quartile in pressure rate and pass rush grade. Stafford had been excellent and graded highly by PFF in getting the ball out quickly with efficiency despite sub-par pass protection thus far. Daniel Jones has been effective and efficient while benefitting from a strong running back and ground game led by Jonathan Taylor. The Colts have only faced 3rd and 7 or more nine times this season, lowest in the league. Indy is also tied for the fewest negative plays this season. The Rams pass rush is better, along with their receiving core with of Nacua and Adams going against a defensive secondary that ranked bottom-third in the league entering the season (Rams too). We should see more yards and offensive production, and hopefully plenty of scoring as well with a higher total. Pick: Over

Tennessee Titans at Houston Texans

The Texans scoring defense (17 ppg) is top-5 in the league, and they'll rattle and pressure struggling bro QB Ward and a Titans offense averaging 222 yards per game - No. 31 in the NFL. Opinion: Under
