The featured match of week six takes place in the south of Spain, where two storied La Liga sides meet up for the first time this season, in what should be one of the more entertaining fixtures for the viewing public.

Sevilla have found consistency an uphill battle, "Los Rojiblancos" take to the pitch with an overall record of 2-1-2. Having accumulated 10 points which is good for the 9th spot in the table, the Sevillistas will have even more motivation as they attempt to keep pace in the hunt for European competitions.

Pablo Machín has had a whirlwind couple of years. After leading Girona through promotion into Spain's top flight league, his top ten finish in La Liga this past campaign earned him the top spot with Sevilla and an opportunity to play on multiple fronts while continuing too grow his managerial career.

The White and Reds have conformed into a side who prefer a 3-4-3 under Machín. After a succession of managers of the past few seasons, the Spaniards have seen their fare share of alignments, as they search for stability within the squad. Éver Banega has been the main lynch-pin throughout the years. The Argentine midfielder is the prime play-maker while a part of the starting eleven, Banega is well versed at all aspects in the offensive attack, his sheer presence on the pitch can change the complete outcome of a match.

The home side are coming off two of their more dominant performances as a collective unit, netting eleven goals both domestically and a part of the Europa League, giving them the utmost of confidence that they can give Los Blancos a true battle on Wednesday night. Machín is also blessed to have an embarrassment of riches to choose from for his front-line support. With the likes of Wissam Ben Yedder who has been in sparkling form, the French-man is coming off a hat-trick his last time out, making him a prime candidate to once again lead the way, as the main tally's man in Sevilla's formidable attack.

With a powerful Real Madrid attack coming to town, Sevilla must have a concentrated effort on the back-end. The hosts will rely heavily on their defenders and GK - Tomás Vaclik to help stymie the Royal Whites, and keep this contest close as the hosts attempt to collect all three points during this mid-week edition.

Real Madrid travel south with hefty expectations. The Madridistas have failed to face defeat domestically, while adjusting to the departure of Zinedine Zidane after a third straight Champions League victory. "Los Blancos" currently have sole possession of the 2nd spot in the La Liga table with an overall record of 4-1-0, while only trailing eternal rivals Barcelona by a two goal differential for a share of the top spot in Spain's top flight league.

Julen Lopetegui steps into the managerial role with huge shoes to fill, the former Spain National team head-man seems to have adjusted seamlessly to his new role, his tactical approach has provided positive results at all his stops along the way. Lopetegui has proved to be the perfect candidate to replace Zidane, and help guide this side towards even more trophies.

The new task-master inherited a stocked squad full of world class talent, even though Cristiano Ronaldo decided to take his talents to Italy. Lopetegui still has two-thirds of the famed "BBC" in tact, with last seasons Champions League hero Gareth Bale now the main figure in the Madrid attack. The Welshman has terrorized his opponents on the wing with a blend of pace, strength and accuracy on goal. His nine total goals scored in all competitions has solidified his spot as the Whites main threat in front of goal.

Karim Benzema and newly assigned starter Marco Asensio are tasked with carrying their own set of responsibilities along side Bale. Benzema is the classic center-forward, most dangerous when being supplied service where he is tactically sound in and around the box. Asensio burst onto the scene a few seasons back, and with Ronaldo making his way too Juventus, the young Spaniard was handed a starting spot by his former national team coach.

The guests are loaded throughout the starting eleven and are especially talented within their midfield, where both Toni Kroos and Luka Modric are leaned upon to cause mismatches while in the attacking half of the pitch. Using their in-game instincts to locate their feared danger-men in front of goal, their overall ability to carry out their manager's orders on the pitch places them on a different level than most players in the world.

Real Madrid also made a modest investment in between the sticks, importing Thibaut Courtois to be their new number one. The lanky Belgium has widely been considered on the top five goal keepers in the world, and this Madrid side believe his presence in goal makes them a even better all-around team than in years past.
