The first two days of the NBA playoffs were loaded with surprises with road teams cashing in plenty. The thrills figure to continue throughout the week as the postseason rolls on. Here are a couple games you should have your eye on.

NBA: Brooklyn Nets @ Toronto Raptors – Tuesday, 7:30 PM ET

The Nets were accused of tanking their last game in order to get a matchup with the third-seeded Raptors, who have little to no playoff experience. Then Raptors GM Masai Ujiri was heard shouting an expletive towards the Nets, who then used their playoff experience to pick up a 94-87 win in Game 1. Joe Johnson and Deron Williams had 24 points each for the Nets, who held the Raptors to 39.4% from the field and forced 17 turnovers to just eight for themselves. Kyle Lowry had 22 points for Toronto, while Jonas Valanciunas added 17 points and 18 rebounds, but DeMar DeRozan was 3-of-13 and scored just 14 points in his playoff debut and the Raptors need a better performance than that.

The Nets played 10 players at least 12 minutes, which means they were able to rotate in and order to keep their players fresher. Kevin Garnett, for example, played just 20 minutes. But they were able to get production from their All-Star caliber backcourt of Williams and Johnson, and that gave the Nets the edge in Game 1. In Game 2, DeRozan needs to step up and help Lowry out. The Raptors are a 4.5-point favorite at Wagerweb.ag sportsbook.

Key Stats: Toronto was 21-18-2 ATS at home this season; Brooklyn was 18-23 ATS on the road

Recent Series History: Toronto is now 2-3 SU in their last five at home against Brooklyn, but 3-2 ATS

Pick: Toronto Raptors

NBA: Portland Trailblazers @ Houston Rockets – Wednesday, 9:30 PM ET

The Trailblazers and Rockets may have played the best game of the opening volley as Portland came away with a 122-120 overtime win thanks to a monster game from LaMarcus Aldridge, who posted 46 points and 18 rebounds. Once he fouled out, Damian Lillard took care of the rest en route to 31 points, nine boards and five assists for Portland, while the Rockets got 27 points apiece from Dwight Howard and James Harden. You wouldn't think these two would be able to keep this pace up, but Houston was second in points scored this season, while Portland was fourth; both also ranked in the bottom third of the league in points allowed, so it is very possible that each game will be an offensive shootout.

The Rockets have to do something about Aldridge, who was allowed to do whatever he wanted and the Trailblazers will trade that for a lack of defense every single time. It also didn't hurt that the Rockets hit just 26 of their 40 free-throw attempts, led by Howard going 9-of-17. That could be the factor that makes or breaks Houston's chances in the first round.

Key Stats: Houston was 22-17-2 ATS at home this season; Portland was 25-16 ATS on the road

Recent Series History: Houston is now 3-2 SU at home against Portland, but 2-3 ATS

Pick: Portland Trailblazers
