The Atlanta Falcons bring the NFL's highest-scoring offense into Sunday's NFC Championshp game against the Green Bay Packers.

The Green Bay Packers have a stop unit that has had a rough time stopping opposing offenses this season. And it just so happens that the Atlanta Falcons may have just what it takes to exploit all of that. They are the NFL's highest-scoring team, with a quarterback who set records this season, and they have the home field advantage on a fast track, so to speak. The NFC Championship game will get underway at 3:05 PM ET in what will be a fond farewell to the Georgia Dome. BetAnySports customers, who get reduced juice before the game starts, can keep the action going as they access what is available through Live Betting Ultra.

Atlanta averaged 33.8 points a game, which was the 8th-best figure in NFL history. And no wonder; Matt Ryan convinced offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan to let him implement the no-huddle offense more this season, and the Falcons have been keeping defenses off-balance with a plethora of weapons. They include Julio Jones (1409 yards), Tyler Gabriel, who has provided a big-play element to take pressure off Jones (16.5 yards per catch) and third outlet Mohammad Sanu, who caught the winning TD pass when these teams met on October 30 (a 33-32 Atlanta win). The Falcons have the ability to put a lot of pressure on with their ground game, primarily behind Davonta Freeman (1079 yards), and the Packers have allowed 4.7 yards per rush over their last dozen games.

In the pro football playoff betting odds posted on the game at BetAnySports, the Falcons are favored:

Atlanta Falcons -5.5
Green Bay Packers +5.5

Over 60.5 points -110
Under 60.5 points -110

One of the things that might give the Falcons a much better chance of emerging from this game with a win and a cover is that the Packers are probably going to suit up a number of players who are not going to be near 100%. That means receivers Jordy Nelson, Davante Adams and Geronimo Allison, as well as safety Morgan Burnett and cornerback Quentin Rollins, who allowed 10.1 yards per pass this season. Ryan and Jones can also exploit Ladarius Gunter, who had Dez Bryant as his primary responsibility last week and allowed Bryant to catch nine passes for 132 yards and a couple of scores.

This is a team that wasn't bad at all when dealing with the opposition's #1 and #2 receivers, so if the Packers have to dip into the depth chart here, it will make them less of a threat, even if Aaron Rodgers has been hot lately (24 TD's, one INT in last nine games). Vic Beasley is the NFL's leading sack master (15.5 sacks), but BetAnySports patrons should also keep their eyes on Dwight Freeney, one of the NFL's all-time best pass rushers, who will be playing in his eighth conference title game.

Ryan set an NFL record this year with an average of 9.3 yards per pass attempt. And he has gained 10.4 yards on first down when he throws the ball. If he had so much success against the Seattle defense last week (338 yards, three TD's), he can do some business against Green Bay. With a couple of running backs who can catch the football, Ryan is not badly equipped to beat the Packer blitz, which he may have scared off in the last meeting (Packer defensive coordinator Dom Capers ordered it only three times).
