Online poker site PokerStars has released the provisional schedule for the fifth edition of its Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) tournament series showing 42 events from May 12 to 26.

PokerStars stated that SCOOP 2013 will have 'an event for just about any kind of poker player and any size of bankroll' and include Zoom tournaments and events featuring Omaha variants Courchevel, Five-Card Omaha and Five-Card Omaha High-Low.

"Last year's SCOOP was the biggest online tournament series in history," read a statement from PokerStars.

"The 40-event, 120-tournament festival paid out more than $65 million in prize money. 'GripDsNutz' won nearly $800,000 after a three-way deal in the high buy-in main event. Online legend Shaun Deeb won his fifth SCOOP title and Player of the Series.

"While the official 2013 schedule is always subject to change, this will give you some idea of the official version that will come out soon."

SCOOP 2013 will again feature the trio of 'low', 'medium' and 'high' buy-in levels for each event in order to make them more affordable for players of all bankrolls with the action due to start on May 12 from 11am with a no-limit hold'em six-max competition. This will be followed by a no-limit hold'em tournament from 2:20pm while the Monday will see no-limit hold'em six-max, fixed-limit Badugi and no-limit hold'em turbo events.

The tournament series is also scheduled to include pot-limit Omaha, Horse, Razz and triple-draw Deuce-To-Seven events before concluding on May 26 with its no-limit hold'em main event, which will have a $109 buy-in at the 'low' level, $1,050 for 'medium' and $10,300 at 'high'.
