PokerStars has moved to expand its social casino service offering by entering into a partnership with Imperus Technologies.

Under the agreement, Imperus will provide its selection of Akamon slot games to 'Jackpot Poker by PokerStars', the free-to-play mobile application operated by PokerStars.The initial offering of slot games will include 'Fire Wheel 7s', 'Monte Carlo' and 'Salsa Nights'.

"Players have told us they want the ability to play slots while enjoying our jackpot tournaments and cash games," PokerStars' director of social Lloyd Melnick said.

"The addition of Akamon's slots to Jackpot Poker by PokerStars is the next evolution of Jackpot Poker, and we will continue to add the features and capabilities our players want."

Vicenç Marti, president of Imperus, added: "The agreement not only illustrates the popularity of our slot game titles but also shows our enormous potential to the rest of the industry as a way to increase social gaming market share."
