Ongoing Payout Saga solutions, FINALLY!

Last week in the MailBag, we outlined payouts problems at several very solid sportsbooks. The ongoing payout problems involved ACH payouts in mid to late October from several sportsbooks. The wait for players should come to and end shortly.

Last week in the MailBag for our Members, we outlined payouts problems at several very solid sportsbooks. The ongoing payout problems involved ACH payouts in mid to late October from several sportsbooks.

The two largest outfits that were affected were 5Dimes and Bodog. So far the affected Bodog players we heard from have been paid out. We have always had Bodog rated at the top of the heap for customer service sportsbooks and they were right on top of this situation.

We were told that 5 Dimes players who were involved should contact customer service and the ACH payout that never arrived will be put back into the affected players’ 5Dimes account. Then the payout can be requested via another method.

Players need to understand that payouts, especially of the alternate methods other than check and person-to-person, are very difficult in the face of U.S. laws. If you have played a book for several years and are now having a problem, it is most likely an issue with the payment itself, not the book trying to ‘pull anything’ or ‘steal’ funds. It is quite understandable that players are frustrated when their payout does not arrive when it is supposed to, but given the difficulties that offshore sportsbooks have right now, any payout from an Elite or Premier rated sportsbook is most likely a bump in the payout highway, not a larger issue. Players are urged to contact us whenever a payout problem arises at a top rated book before their blood pressure gets sky high.
