Free pick and preview of the Pittsburgh Steelers at Buffalo Bills NFL preseason matchup on Saturday.

The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Buffalo Bills will get this Saturday's NFL preseason action started in a 4 p.m. (ET) start at Ralph Wilson Stadium in a nationally broadcast matchup on the NFL Network. VietBet has listed the Bills as 2.5-point home favorites and the NFL betting odds for the total have been set at 43.

Pittsburgh Steelers NFL preseason bettingThis will be the Steelers' fourth preseason game after losing to Minnesota 14-3 in this year's Hall of Fame Game as three-point underdogs. Following a 23-21 loss to Jacksonville as one-point underdogs on the road, they posted a 24-19 win against Green Bay this past Sunday as one-point favorites at home. The total has gone OVER in their last two games.

Against the Packers, Landry Jones took the majority of the snaps at quarterback and he completed 10-of-19 passes for 172 yards and two scores. Ben Roethlisberger went 11-for-14 for 100 yards and score in limited action, but he should play into the second half on Saturday afternoon. Through its three preseason games, Pittsburgh is averaging 210.3 yards a game through the air, but its 62.7 rushing average is ranked 31st of 32 teams. Veteran running back DeAngelo Williams has been the leading rusher with 48 yards on 10 carries.

The Bills come into this matchup with a 1-1 record both straight-up and against the spread in the preseason. After losing to Carolina 25-24 as three-point favorites at home, they went on the road and beat Cleveland 11-10 as 2.5-point underdogs. The total went OVER the closing 37-point line posted by Vietbet against the Panthers and it stayed UNDER the 40-point line against the Browns.

Buffalo Bills Preseason oddsBuffalo is ranked 27th in the preseason in passing yards, but it has been one of the top teams in the league running the ball with an average of 143.5 yards through those first two games. Quarterback Tyrod Taylor has thrown for 114 yards and he leads the team in rushing with 88 yards on just 10 carries. New head coach Rex Ryan has yet to name his starting quarterback heading into the regular season and he plans to use all three (Taylor, EJ Manual and Matt Cassel) in this Saturday's game.

These two AFC foes met in Week 3 of last year's preseason with Pittsburgh coming away with a tight 19-16 win as a one-point home favorite. I see the Steelers getting the SU win on the road this time around, but my best bet is the UNDER on VietBet's total line of 43.
